The Jet Tones were a rock and roll band from Elyria, Ohio, active in the years 1958-1965. Their 1959 song "Henry" is featured in the Fallout TV series episode "The Past".
Career[]
The band was started by guitarist Donald Ward and bassist Gordon Thurman, with Bob Clutts as the original singer. Starting in 1959, Barney Freeman joined as singer/guitarist and became the band's leader, with Don Rutherford on drums and Leo DeLuca on saxophone.
The 1965 lineup of the band consisted of Barney Freeman, Jim Kordleski on lead guitar, Wynn Fertigue on bass, and Jim Dillenger on drums.
All members of The Jet Tones are now deceased.[1]
