The Civil War draft poster is a miscellaneous item in Fallout 3. It is found in the Museum of History, in the offices section on a bookshelf in the southeast corner of the library area downstairs.
Location[]
When standing before the correct shelf containing the poster, the arrow should face to the left of the local map on the Pip-Boy. There is a pillar to the right of the shelf, and a red firehose box should be visible to the right as well. The poster looks like a frame of a picture, and it is at the top right corner of the shelf.
Related quests[]
- Lincoln's Profit Margins - can be sold to Leroy Walker, Hannibal Hamlin, or Abraham Washington.
Notes[]
Sometimes the poster falls onto the floor or face-down while remaining on the shelf. If one stands in the position mentioned above, the item will be directly below or sticking out on the shelf as a larger tan frame. If the poster has landed face down, it looks like a larger tannish floor tile.
Behind the scenes[]
Despite being labeled as a draft poster, the paper actually seems to be a New York state citizenship certificate.
