Evangelion Mark.10 (エヴァンゲリオンマークテン, EVANGELION Mark.10?) is an Evangelion Unit belonging to the Rebuild of Evangelion film series. It appears in the film Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time. Mark.10 is the Master of the NHG Erlösung and is one of the remaining Adams. Like the other Vessels of the Adams, the Mark.10 is piloted by the advanced Ayanami Series.

Evangelion Mark.10 shares the design of the Vessel of the Adams units with the distinct coloring of red and black. Without any extra lines on its mask, the X represents the Roman numerals for 10. Like the other Vessel of the Adams, a small SEELE insignia can be seen on the Mark.10's forehead.

Features[]

Mark.10 (Along with the other Vessels of the Adams) does not have a A.T. Field. It has the ability to produce a halo below or behind it to levitate. It also possess the ability to open its masks to fire beams of light.

Inside the Mask, the face is a compressed twelve red eyes just like Evangelion Mark.09.

History[]

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time[]

Mark.10 is seen alongside Evangelion Mark.11 and Evangelion Mark.12 on the crystal peaks of the NHG Erlösung as Unit-08γ is cornered. Mark.10 opens it mask, and unleashes two beams. Unit-08y evades the attacks and closes the distance between them, pinning it down on the hull of the ship and consuming its head furthering the overlap process.

It is last seen as it vanishes from the world, inside the Unit-08γ as part of the Final Evangelion.

  • The first appearance was an illustration by Hideaki Anno published in a lamp at the Bonbori Matsuri festival in 2020.
  • The red decals correspond to those on the NHG Erlösung, since it is the master of the airship. This color also corresponds to War, one of the Horsemen of the Apocalypse as shown in the 1887 paintingWP by Viktor VasnetsovWP.[citation needed]
  • In one of the trailers promoting Evangelion 3.0 + 1.0, Mark.10 is seen landing on Wunder but is later revealed to be Mark.09-A.
