Plot[]

Following Order 66, Jay a Padawan in training, manages to escape and ends up in the van of Geezer, a young Hutt who is trying to start a new band. Years later, they recruit Lan and K-344 and become Star Waver; playing in small personal venues. During one show, they are confronted by Boba Fett who tells Geezer that his uncle Jabba wants him to rejoin his family legacy. He refuses and the band make a run for it. However, their ship is shot down and to protect his friends, Geezer willingly leaves with Boba after Jay fails to unsheathe his lightsaber, which he has not used in years.

Jay is angry with himself as K-344 and Lan try to calm him when they hear an old recording of their first time playing together. They resolve to rescue him. On Tatooine, Jabba is preparing to execute Geezer for abandoning his family, when the rest of Star Waver arrives; having worked a deal with Jabba to play one last show together. The show is a hit among the citizens as Jay openly asks Jabba to be their first sponsor. With the support of the crowd, Jabba cancels the execution as they play another song to the masses.
