A cybernetic boy, who dreams of being a Jedi, discovers a dangerous truth about his creator.
Plot[]
On a small desolate planet, T0-B1 is the robot boy assistant to Professor Mitaka whose goal is to find a way to bring back vegetation to the planet. With the help of several other robots, T0-B1, or Tobi, helps Mitaka while also fantasizing about being a Jedi. Knowing that he will not give up on that dream, Mitaka tasks Tobi with finding a kyber crystal. He searches all over the planet, but is unable to find one until he looks through the basement of their lab. He finds a ship and accidentally sends a message that is picked up by the Inquisitor. Mitaka reveals that he is a former Jedi and hides Tobi along with a droid named C03.
When Tobi emerges form hiding, he discovers that Mitaka was killed and the lab is destroyed. He manages to salvage a small plant and decides to continue Mitaka's work. After spending, presumably, years, Tobi manages to successfully bring life to the planet while also having discovered a kyber crystal. The Inquisitor returns and seeing Tobi as a threat battles him. Tobi is visited by the spirit of Mitaka who tells him that he is a true Jedi and with the help of the small droids is able to successfully defeat the Inquisitor. Tobi and C03 decide to continue Mitaka's research by traveling to other planets.

Trivia[]
The main character of the short was loosely based in design on Osamu Tezuka's Astro Boy. His name, TO-B1, is a play on Tobio Tenma, the human Astro is modeled after. His creator Mitaka even bears some resemblance to Dr. Ochanomizu.
T0-B1's scenario is the same to Luke Skywalker:
Both are young at the start of their journeys
Both are longing to explore the galaxy.
Both are padawans to a white bearded man. (Mitaka, Obi-Wan)
Both have blue lightsabers at the first fight against a Dark Robed villain (Darth Vader, Inquisitor)
