"Hopalong Froggy and the Buckin' Bronco" is a song from the Muppet Babies episode, "The Good, the Bad, and the Froggy". Baby Kermit (Hopalong Froggy) tells the tale of the time he was thrown off of his saddle and never rode again afterwards. But when all of his pals get captured by Gonzo the Kid, Hopalong knows he must set them free.
Lyrics[]
There once was a dashing cowboy
Hopalong Froggy was his name
The fastest rider that you've ever seen
He rode high up in the saddle
And never lost his way
And like me, he was a little short and green
Till that dark and fateful day
When our cowboy met his match upon the range
And I was thrown
(He was thrown)
From the saddle
(From the saddle)
Tossed, rather roughly to the floor
Yes, I was thrown
(He was thrown)
From the saddle
(From the saddle)
That's why you'll never see me riding any more
Yes, I'll get back
In the saddle
Riding high upon my steed again
Yes, now I'm back
In the saddle
And I'm riding off to help my friends
