2008 X is a semi-retake of 2017 X focused more on the Roblox gaming platform.
The God[]
2008 X is evil incarnate. He views himself as the true god of this realm, and sees humanity as nothing more than a plaything. He never had the belief that humanity should be his to play with forever, as he already fully believes that humanity belongs to him. However, because he is currently stuck in the Roblox gaming platform, he usually kills people and pulls their souls into his game, a recreation of the Sonic the Hedgehog world with his influence sprinkled onto it.
Appearance[]
His faker form looks somewhat like a mix of Movie Sonic and Classic Sonic. His skin and fur is light, yet the only giveaway is that his eyes are somewhat dark red.
His "main form" is what he uses most of the time. In this form he is slightly taller than in his fake form, and his skin and fur get slightly darker. Here he also has fangs and his pupils now glow red.
However, both forms are a mask for the real beast. In this form, the true demon hiding behind the hedgehog's skin finally escapes, causing 2008's limbs and eyes to fall out. His two red pupils have now multiplied, and he appears to be missing some teeth. His mouth and eyes both bleed some sort of black substance that comes from the demon inside of him.
The Tale[]
In the year 1979, X had been born after an experiment with creating life went horribly wrong. He started as a parasite, but eventually he was caught. When he was almost burned, he decided to live hidden from everyone else. After 29 years, he discovered the gaming platform Roblox. Soon he made it his home and changed his skin to that of the beloved Sonic the Hedgehog character. At first he attempted to be a hero, but something inside him told him that this wasn't his destiny. Soon he convinced himself that humanity was his plaything, and that everyone belonged to him. Eventually he recreated the Sonic the Hedgehog world using Roblox, while sprinkling his influence onto it. He slowly began to learn from many of the hijackings Roblox has experienced, and adapted them into his world. The amount of time he has spent making others in his world suffer has convinced him that he is actually God.
His first victim was a teenager named Kyle Caxton. After killing him by shocking him with his own computer, his soul was put inside the vessel of Miles "Tails" Prower.
Personality[]
2008 X is evil incarnate. In 1979, he was a rather neutral evil, but after 26 years in hiding, he has learned what true evil is and what it isn't. He is a malicious creature that has convinced himself that the old God is dead, and he is the replacement. This is because of his immense amount of abilities and his belief that he owns all of humanity. When he's losing one of his games, he dons a somewhat crazed personality. However most of the time he is somewhat calm with only a smidge of madness.
Potential[]
- Reality Manipulation-The first power 2008 X knew he had. He discovered this power during the creation of his world. This ability is most powerful when used on his world, but it is somewhat weak in any other world. For example, if he wanted to manipulate Brookhaven, he would really only be able to just modify the textures. But if he's in his own world, he would actually have more power, being able to remove and create entire areas.
- Soul Snatching-2008 X discovered this ability when he killed Kyle and took his soul. To steal his victim's soul, he must first kill them by electrocuting them and their computer. Temporarily, X will then have a smidge of power outside of the game. He will then use this power to throw the computer at his victim. The resulting collision of X, the electrocuted computer, and a human will allow X to steal their soul and give it a new home in the game, where he will then torment his victim forever.
- Permanent Death-2008's most brutal ability. This only works if a victim's soul is inside of the game. If 2008 becomes tired of the victim, which he rarely does, he will enter his true form and rip his victim to pieces. He will then eat their corpses and souls. This form of death is permanent.
- Mind Manipulation-In certain spaces, preferably ones that are commonly foggy, 2008 can give his victim intense hallucinations.
Trivia[]
- 2008 X's obsession with Sonic started in 2005. X found his way into the home of a family that had a Sega Genesis and found the Sonic the Hedgehog cartridge. He then took a dummy the family had as a host and played the game all the way through. Soon he turned to the internet to learn more about the Sonic franchise.
- 2008's resemblance to Movie Sonic is coincidental.
- The designs of 2008's forms are actually based on models found by searching "Sonic.exe" in Roblox Studio.
- 2008's favorite food is a cheeseburger.
- 2008 is fully aware of the Cult of X, formed a week after Kyle's death. He seems to not really care about them.
- 2008's two weaknesses are rust and any hacks not caused by him.
- 2008 rarely plays any other game that isn't his. But if he does, he mostly plays the game Pillar Chase 2.
