Frog Flare is a Double Tech used by Frog and Lucca in ChronoTrigger. It's learned once both characters learn Frog Squash and Flare respectively. It is the third Double Tech used by them, and it deals damage on all enemies when Frog is on low HP.
Description[]
Frog's Frog Squash appears on the screen, then Lucca adds a Flare attack to add Fire damage, then the giant frog leaves the screen.
Strategy[]
For both characters, the player should equip the Golden Stud to reduce the MP cost. However, in case that the player want to boost the power of Frog Flare, then the player should equip the Prism Spectacles. Frog's HP must be very low (or at 1 HP) in order to deal higher damage.
It is possible that Frog Flare deal a fixed 9999 damage if both characters are at Level 99, with the Prism Spectacles and the Master's Crown for Frog, along with his HP at 1.
