Dark Serge is a boss fought in Chrono Cross. Upon defeating him, Serge will replace Lynx in the team.
As Dark Serge, Lynx inhabits Serge's body with the power of the Dragon Tear. Serge's messy blue hair became darker, his skin more pale, and his eyes turned red. When the FMV scene where Lynx switches bodies with Serge occurs, his eyes remain blue but with narrow, feline-like irises.
He was initially seen wearing Serge's typical outfit but later wears a military outfit similar to Lynx's except the collar of his trench coat is red, his obi is a deeper purple, and the linings of his black mantle is silver instead of gold.
