"North Pole Cat" is the second Christmas episode of the syndicated animated series Heathcliff produced by DIC Entertainment. It and its partner episode, "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother", premiered on December 26, 1986 (ironically, the day after Christmas).

The episode made its home video debut on the Cookie Jar Christmas Cartoon Collection DVD, released by Mill Creek Entertainment on September 4, 2012. It was later included on Mill Creek Entertainment's TV Guide Spotlight: Totally '80s Toons DVD set, released on March 18, 2014. It was made available again on the Heathcliff: The Complete Series DVD set, released on August 2, 2016.
