Trivia
- All versions of Bede use special voice-over lines upon entering a team that contains certain Trainers (regardless of their partner Pokémon) and victory with them. Those Trainers include Victor, Gloria, Hop, Marnie, Rose, and Oleana.
- In his Champion outfit's sync pair story, Bede reveals he first met Articuno in the Crown Tundra, similar to how it is encountered in Pokémon Sword and Shield.
- Bede & Hatterene are the only sync pair who can set all three types of field effects: weather, terrain, and zone.
- Bede (Champion) & Articuno's second Master Fair scout had the shortest duration of any Master Fair scout, only lasting 6 days (August 22 to 28, 2024).
- In the solo event Three Rivals, Three Ways, Bede is shown to have been raised his Inteleon from a Sobble that was hatched by Professor Bellis.
Origin
Bede's design is based on his appearance in Pokémon Sword and Shield. Hatterene is Bede's signature Pokémon in the core series games, where it is also capable of Gigantamaxing. Hatterene's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Bede is not seen owning an Inteleon outside this game, though it was introduced in Generation VIII like he was. Inteleon's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Sword.
Bede is not seen owning a Galarian Articuno outside of this game. Articuno's Dex entry comes from Pokémon Shield.
