Flintlocke is Nadakhan’s trusted first mate. For a Sky Pirate, Flintlocke has his feet on the ground. He’s willing to follow his captain anywhere…so long as he has some idea of where they are heading. |
Description[]
Flintlocke has a unique printed head and torso pieces, the latter depicting a red jacket with a black shirt and green scarf and a green Sky Pirates backpack or parachute. He shares his orange, green, and brown legs with Bucko, while his black hairpiece was introduced in 2012 and is shared by numerous minifigures. Two versions of Flintlocke wear epaulettes that he shares with Clancee, Doubloon, the Saxophone Player; the other version comes with green armor that he shares with the former two. Flintlocke's mustache piece was first introduced in black in 2014, where it was used for Sheriff Not-A-Robot. The versions of Flintlocke with epaulettes also wear a green helmet and gray goggles; the helmet first appeared in 2011 in dark blue, while the goggles have been used for numerous minifigures beginning in 2007.
Background[]
Flintlocke was originally first mate of Nadakhan's sky pirate crew, and was his most trusted crewmember. Eventually Nadakhan was trapped, and the other pirates were banished. Eventually Clouse accidentally released Nadakhan, and Nadakhan rescued the pirates. Nadakhan tried to create a new world, and he became obsessed with capturing and marrying Nya, who looked like his dead lover. However, Nadakhan was proven to be selfish when he possessed Nya with his lover's spirit, but revealed that he was only marrying her to get power. He turned the others into gold statues, but Flintlocke and Dogshank escaped, joining the ninja and resealing Nadakhan.
