Cinder

Cinder is a Ninjago minifigure introduced in 2024.

Cinder is the current Elemental Master of Smoke. He serves as a general of the Wolf Clan, alongside Jordana and under Lord Ras. Having been "recruited" by Ras under unknown circumstances, Cinder was deployed on a mission to locate the mallet that paired with the Gong of Shattering locked away within Shadow Dojo. Cinder broke into a number of locations in the Crossroads that sold antiques during his search, and his ability to infiltrate these establishments without setting off alarms and without stealing anything led to him being dubbed "the Night Ghost." He was eventually spotted by Arin, Sora, and Riyu after breaking into the shop owned by Fedulian, where he at last located the mallet he had been seeking.

Confronted by the young Ninja trainees, Cinder soon revealed that he had not come alone, with Wolf Mask Warriors appearing to aid him in his battle. Arin and Sora were in turn reinforced by Lloyd, but upon recognizing the masks worn by Cinder's allies from his recent nightmares the Green Ninja became petrified with horror. Cinder took advantage of this to knock the three Ninja out with a bomb, before using his smoke powers to spirit himself and his allies away. They soon rejoined the rest of their forces at Shadow Dojo in the Wyldness, where Lord Ras was able to use the mallet and Gong of Shattering to begin tapping his underlings' new powers.

Cinder subsequently joined Lord Ras and their forces in invading and occupying the Cloud Kingdom, overpowering fellow new Elemental Master Euphrasia. Cinder faced a somewhat more difficult challenge when it came to facing the other Ninja, particularly Kai who had faced Cinder's predecessor Ash. However, using the Gong of Shattering, Lord Ras enabled Cinder to unlock the power of Shatterspin, making him more than a match for the Ninja. Cinder's beating, which included injurying Wyldfyre's leg, forced the Ninja to flee aboard the Destiny's Bounty.
