Natalie Tennyson is Frank's wife and Ken and Gwen's mother.
Appearance[]
Natalie bears a resemblance to her daughter, Gwen. They both have red hair, similar face, and physique.
Natalie has dark blue eyes, black eyebrows, thick eyelashes, and bags under her eyes. She has her mid-length hair combed back, and wears a white blouse with a green drape jacket and a dark grey skirt with high-heeled shoes of the same color. She has golden earrings and a necklace with a golden buckle.
Several years prior to Alien Force, Natalie had longer hair and did not wear a drape jacket, as shown in a framed picture in Gwen's room.
Personality[]
Natalie has been described as being "a square",[MW 1] as she does not like Verdona. This is evidenced by their facial expressions and reactions towards each other. Correlating with this, she gets into disagreements with Verdona, making glares at each other at every given opportunity.[1]
Natalie does not seem to be particularly fond of Frank's side of the family, claiming they are not as "formal" as her side.[4]
Natalie disapproves of her nephew Ben transforming into aliens while in her house, unless it is for the right reasons.[5]
Natalie and Frank are more conservative than Carl and Sandra.[DM 1]

Alien Force[]
In What Are Little Girls Made Of?, when Verdona wanted to take Gwen to Anodyne, but needed her parents' confirmation, Natalie replied that she and Frank wanted Gwen to take after her side of the family while exchanging dirty looks with Verdona, but would let her go to Anodyne.
When Verdona said that she would be coming back now and then to visit the family, Natalie sarcastically responded by saying, "Oh, joy".
Ultimate Alien[]
Natalie returned in Girl Trouble. Gwen talked to her about Sunny, and later Gwen told her about Sunny being an Anodite, which irritated her. Natalie then tried to stop Sunny from seeing Antonio when he visited the house.
In It's Not Easy Being Gwen, Natalie asked Gwen to write the rest of the invitations for a family reunion and invited Ben and Kevin over for dinner.
In The Eggman Cometh, she called in Ben, Gwen and Kevin to investigate after a pterodactyl damaged her kitchen. She showed disapproval when Ben transformed into Clockwork, reminding him that he had promised not to do that in her home.

Frank and Natalie promise to support Gwen regardless of her decision
While Gwen's parents, Natalie especially, don't necessarily approve of her lifestyle, they love their daughter and are willing to support her decisions no matter what. For example, despite wishing that she would take over Natalie's side of the family, they were willing to let her go to Anodyne if that was what she wanted.[1]
