Prypiatosian-Bs are a race of aliens from the planet Prypiatos^{[AP 1]} in the Andromeda Galaxy. They are a sister species to the Prypiatosian-As.

Appearance[]

Prypiatosian-Bs are physical humanoid aliens that radiate pure, red, radioactive energy around their bodies.^{[DM 1]} They have nondescript faces, with nothing visible but glowing eyes and mouths. When flying, their two legs can sometimes appear as one long tail.

In Ultimate Alien, Prypiatosian-Bs didn't have any fingers, their arms just tapered into a spike-like apendage; though their armor's gauntlets had three fingers and a thumb, which they could operate with no issue.

In Omniverse, Prypiatosian-Bs true forms have dedicated hands, with thumbs and one claw-like appendage.

When filling up on enough energy, Prypiatosian-Bs grow to several times their size. Their figure is more bulky, their prominent feet turn into stumps, and they gain hands with three fingers and a thumb.

History[]

The Prypiatosian-B and Prypiatosian-As' common ancestors were responsible for an atomic war that completely devastated their near planet-spanning mega-cities. In the aftermath, the surviving denizens that fled underground managed to avoid the nuclear fallout, and came to be known as the Prypiatosian-As, while those who stayed above ground to scavenge became known as the Prypiatosian-Bs.^{[AP 1]}

As the Prypiatosian-Bs scavenged the hazardously irradiated ruins of their once great civilization, they became mutated into highly radioactive beings, from which P'Andor is descended.^{[AP 1]}

Diet[]

Prypiatosian-Bs feed by absorbing energy and the more they absorb, the bigger and stronger they become.

P'Andor was shown actually eating uranium as well, showing the species can eat physical things well as absorbing radiation, though it is unknown if they can eat non-radioactive substances.

Powers and Abilities[]

Prypiatosian-Bs are capable of firing highly radioactive energy beams. These blasts can be fired through their hands or eyes,^[1] and are strong enough to destroy large falling chunks of Galvan B,^[2] harm strong opponents, such as Ultimate Kevin,^[3] and even knock out an Orishan.^[4] These beams can slice through objects, such as a glass container,^[5] as well as easily shatter ice created by a Necrofriggian,^[6] melt the guns of Incurseans,^[7] and start fires.^[8] This energy can also be found in their breath^[5] and saliva.^[9] Additionally, Prypiatosian-Bs can create balls of radioactive energy to fire at their opponents.^[5]

Prypiatosian-Bs are extremely hot by default,^{[AP 1]} but they can amplify this heat, being able to become so hot they can melt solid metal and rock just by touching it.^{[DVD 1]} NRG has used this tactic to force Ultimate Kevin to release him, melt dirt below Gwen,^[3] and attempt to burn the Trash Monster;^[10] while P'Andor used this tactic to burn Bivalvan, completely melt an Aggrebot,^[11] and to melt out of a frozen pool of water.^[4] Additionally, Prypiatosian-Bs can radiate this heat from a short distance away, as NRG did to melt the concrete under Trombipulor.^[12]

Prypiatosian-Bs can absorb external sources of energy, such as electricity, an Aerophibian's neuroshock blasts. and uranium. After absorbing energy, they become stronger^[5] and can grow in size, the latter was demonstrated by P'Andor.^[4]

Prypiatosian-Bs are capable of squashing and stretching their bodies to a certain degree^{[AP 1]} and becoming intangible, both demonstrated by P'Andor.^[4] Prypiatosian-Bs are also incredibly agile and can fly extremely fast, they can also levitate.^[4][5][13] Prypiatosian-Bs can survive underwater, as demonstrated by P'Andor.^[4]

Prypiatosian-Bs are quite strong, as NRG was able to stop a Hover-Bus moving at full speed,^[9] throw a Vaxasaurian off his suit,^[6] and fight on par with the Trash Monster.^[10] Prypiatosian-Bs also have enhanced durability, as demonstrated when P'Andor was knocked through a wall by Kevin throwing his containment suit at him.^[4]

Prypiatosian-Bs are immune to radiation^[4][14] and being poisoned by lead.^{[DJW 1]} Prypiatosian-Bs are also immune to being frozen due to the heat their bodies give off, as demonstrated by P'Andor.^[4] Additionally, Prypiatosian-Bs are immune to extreme heat. This was evidenced by Rook passing out due to the heat in the Kraaho's lair, while NRG remained unaffected.^[5]

Prypiatosian-Bs are immune to being controlled by a Vladat via their Corrupturas by mimicking the radiation of a star.^{[DJW 2]}

Prypiatosian-Bs can make themselves glow extremely bright, enough to harm Ectonurites.^[15] Prypiatosian-Bs can also detect and track energy from long distances, as demonstrated by P'Andor.^[4]

Weaknesses[]

Prypiatosian-Bs radioactive blasts can be absorbed by the plasma generated by members of Ball Weevil's species. they can also be trapped in said plasma, both demonstrated by Leander.^[16]

Prypiatosian-Bs are vulnerable to carbon dampening rods because they slow down nuclear reactions, thereby inhibiting the radiation they generate, as demonstrated with P'Andor.^[4]

Etymology[]

Prypiatosian is derived from Pripyat, the Ukrainian city where the Chernobyl disaster occurred in 1986.

Trivia[]

• Because the Prypiatosian-Bs are from the Andromeda Galaxy Prypiatosian-B DNA wasn't in the Codon Stream until the Ultimatrix scanned P'Andor in Too Hot to Handle.
• P'Andor was sealed in the suit by his people because he is a criminal and the suit would act like his cage to weaken his powers no matter where he was.^{[DM 2]}
  • However, information from the 57th issue of the Cartoon Network Action Packs states that Aggregor created his suit specifically to contain and capture P'Andor.^{[AP 1]}
• Prypiatosian-Bs have no relation to Atomix's species.^{[DJW 4]}
• In the script for Too Hot to Handle, it was stated that the Prypiatosian-Bs are energy beings,^{[script 1]} but this was changed in the series.^{[DM 1]}
