After winning a Sumo Slammers Champion belt, Ben returns to the Rustbucket to find his prize in the arms of Kevin, but when his rival hijacks the Rustbuggy instead, our hero must stop at nothing to get back what's rightfully his!
Plot[]
Rath attacks Hot Shot
The episode opens up with Ben trying to purchase something from a shop at an arcade. He tries to find something affordable, with no luck, much to the annoyance of Max and especially Gwen. He then spots a Sumo Slammers champion belt he wants, however he can't afford it. The clerk at the counter states that there is a bumper cars competition, and the winner gets to chose any prize they want. Gwen and Ben both compete. Ben questions how to win at bumper cars, and he transforms into Diamondhead. Using his powers, Diamondhead easily beats everyone in the competition, in turn winning the belt, but is escorted off of the premises by the security. After timing out, Ben walks towards the Rustbucket, and opens the door, spotting Kevin inside. He asks what he's doing, however Kevin simply says he believed it was his RV. Kevin then transforms into Hot Shot, blasting Ben with his fire and atemptting to off in the Rustbucket. Before he is given the chance, Ben transforms into Rath, and fights him off. Soon Kevin is bested, and manages to distract Rath by complementing how cool he is. Hot Shot gets inside the Rustbucket and drives off. As Hot Shot drives away, the Forever Knight's drone flies by the RV's window. The Forever Knight complements him, and demands him to report back to him, so he can assimilate their technology.
Hot Shot in the Rustbuggy
Now in a desert, Rath manages to catch up to the Rustbucket, grasping onto its back end. As he struggles to climb on top of the vehicle, he accidentally opens the trunk, letting out Glitch. After falling off of the RV, he and Glitch team up, infusing the Rustbuggy with Appoplexian DNA. Together, they quickly catch up to Kevin in the Rustbucket. Back at the arcade, Max and Gwen notice that Ben is gone, as is the Rustbucket. Gwen decides they should call a cab. Meanwhile, Hot Shot rams Glitch with the Rustbucket, successfully evading them. However, they quickly catch up, and use a hill to leap onto the Rustbucket. Rath startles Hot Shot, who then crashes the vehicle. Hot Shot climbs out of the toppled Rustbucket and notices Glitch, who he then jumps into. Glitch then unintentionally fuses with Hot Shot's DNA, and Hot Shot drives off in his new ride. He pulls up to Rath and gloats, while Glitch apologizes for covering him in sand. Rath attempts to stop Hot Shot, but fails to hit him as he drives around. Hot Shot then drives in circles around him, creating a cyclone. Rath times out in mid-air, but Max and Gwen arrives on time, and Max catches him.
As Hot Shot drives away, the Forever Knight's drone flies down, questioning what happened to the R.V. Hot Shot replies telling him he ditched it in favor of the Rustbuggy. Angry that he had altered the plan, the Forever Knight demands him to report back to him to he can evaluate the situation. Hot Shot states he has to take care of something first, despite the Forever Knight's orders. Hot Shot then destroys the drone, further angering the Forever Knight. From high above, the Forever Knight prepares to leave his ship.
The Forever Knight chasing Hot Shot and Glitch
On the ground, Kevin tries to run the Tennysons over, however, he is stopped by Glitch activating the emergency brake. Hot Shot questions what happened, and Glitch answers, explaining that he did what was necessary to protect the Tennyson family. Kevin thinks the Forever Knight will find that interesting. Suddenly, the Forever Knight arrives, angry at Hot Shot. He attacks him shooting laser at him. Hot Shot retreats using Glitch. Ben transforms into Heatblast, and goes after the two. Hot Shot manages to dodge Forever Knight's attacks, which impresses the Forever Knight. Heatblast then comes in, and Forever Knight is pleased to see him. Heatblast and Hot Shot agree to team up. The Forever Knight shoots a missile at both of them, and believes they are dead. However, as he begins to leave, they pop out of the ground, and Heatblast shoots his jetpack, causing the Forever Knight to go flying off elsewhere. Ben and Kevin time out, and Ben questions why he was working with the Forever Knight. Kevin avoids the questions by stating that not everyone is lucky enough to have a talking car to watch their back. He promptly leaves. Meanwhile, Max lets Gwen know that a tow truck is coming to get the Rustbucket. Once he and Glitch show up, Gwen questions what happened to Kevin, but Ben doesn't know. She shows Ben that she had fixed his damaged Sumo Slammers belt, but Ben doesn't care, as it doesn't fit him.
At the Forever Knight's castle, Forever Knight talks down on Kevin, as he returns after disobeying him. Kevin claims that he thinks he found a way to recruit Ben Tennyson.

Report back here, and I'll begin assimilating their technology. Soon I will be unstoppable, and what about Tennyson? Hot Shot: Oh, he's eating dust. Forever Knight: You've done good work, Kevin.

Forever Knight: You fail to secure the vehicle. Then you deny me, and now you come crawling back empty-handed? Kevin: Yeah, yeah. Sorry about loosing all the tech stuff you wanted, but just hear me out. I may have figured out how to recruit Ben Tennyson once and for all.
