Trivia[]
Promotional Walmart pin for the Barney Safety.
- The first home video to feature "The Adventure Screen". The only other home video to feature this segment was the video, Camp Wannarunnaround.
- The first home video since Barney's Magical Musical Adventure to have "I Love You" sung at the end after a lawsuit for the song happened a year before this video's release (not counting any of the episodes from the TV series that were released on video from 1992-1995 including the Time Life Video releases, Love To Read, With Barney or the documentary Barney Celebrates Children which all contained the song).
- The first time I Love You was sung without the Barney Theme Song due to the song not being sung in Imagination Island, again due to a lawsuit for the song.
- The third time Barney is not seen coming to life. Instead, as he walks up the treehouse, he introduces the viewers by showing them his safety book.
- Another time Barney does not turn back into a doll. Instead, he reads a rhyme from his safety book with the viewers.
- "The Adventure Screen" segment about the fire station is the same as the one used in "I Can Be A Firefighter!".
- This group (Jason, Min, Shawn, Tosha) also appeared in "Shawn & The Beanstalk".
- An instrumental arrangement of the song "Everyone is Special" is used during the end credits which was previously used in Barney in Concert. Unlike that video which contained the instrumental portion of "We Are Barney and the Backyard Gang" as the second half, this song plays throughout.
- A scene from "Classical Cleanup" is shown on the back cover including a still image during the end credits despite not being included in the video itself.
- This was one of the few Barney videos released to not have a Spanish-dubbed version.
- In this video it is revealed that Shawn has an uncle that works at a Construction company.
- Min wears the same outfit from "Gone Fishing!".
