Zeus is the main antagonist of Chapter 5: Season 2 of Fortnite: Battle Royale.
He is the King of Olympus and the ruler of The Pantheon, as well as the God of Thunder, Law, Lightning, And Order.

According to his daughter, Aphrodite, Zeus used to be a kind god who would give mortals gifts. but something changed eons ago and he became distant and consumed with fear and anger when he heard the prophecy of a mortal ending his reign as the King of Olympus.

Before Chapter 5[]
Eons ago, Zeus was benevolent and liberal god with regarding to the mortals, but one day to the next day, for reasons currently unknown to people, he turned to be distant with the mortals and began to dislike the people.

Chapter 5: Season 1[]

Chapter 5: Season 2[]
After Pandora's Box opened, Zeus with The Pantheon members, arrived on the Helios Island. Zeus plans to end every mortalkind as penalty for opening the box. None of the gods fully share his ideals, such as Aphrodite (his daughter), who opposes him in everything, Hades (his brother) who declares himself neutral, and Artemis (his daughter), who considers this hunt for mortals immoral. He begins to battle The Society leaders such as Nisha, Oscar, and Montague for their box opening and medallions uses. Zeus' plan is to have other gods join him. Meanwhile, some of the gods express that they don't share his ideals and stand up against him, such as Aphrodite. The Oracle gets The Looper to join Oracle's side as mortalkinds hero to unite mortals against Zeus. After The Looper defeats Ares and Cerberus, Zeus heard of Looper's works from Hades and Ares, the kind of gods turned frustrated and wrote on stone edicts sent to Olympians his intention to take out The Looper including his plans to make people in his allies.
The Looper is later called by Aphrodite to join their side. The Oracle discovers that Zeus wishes to have Artemis join, drops off The Looper to get attention from her. As Artemis considers this hunt for mortals immoral, she agreed to become The Looper's ally. Including Poseidon and Apollo also would join The Looper.
Later Cerberus is sent by Zeus to find actions of The Looper's, but Cerberus chose not to obey Hades' orders if The Looper assists find an artifact that is secretly hidden by Hades. Perseus, who is Zeus' demigod son, also declared support for mortals, being on Medusa's side.
Medusa calls The Looper, wanting to take her property back that Zeus stolen from her long time ago. While investigating, they find an hourglass. The Oracle requested The Looper that the Olympians immorality is not absolute and that the Hourglass is his source, and that can be destroyed, but later all the cracking hourglasses were destroyed. With Zeus' godly essence that's in the hourglass, Medusa made a charm that she handed to The Looper, before sending them to wipe out Zeus' Stormforged Hourglasses.
Dethroning the god, The Looper choose to spare Zeus' life, and then allowed Hope to tag The Underground's logo on Zeus' throne after being dethroned.
Sandstorm Event[]
Zeus permeate Mount Olympus statue with his power and use it to release some power from Pandora's Box, which summoned a sandstorm and attracted Wasteland Warriors as well as The Wanderer.
