Vortex is a minor antagonist in the Transformers Aligned universe, serving as a minor antagonist in Transformers: Fall of Cybertron. Vortex is a decepticon, member of the Combaticons and the left arm of Bruticus.
History[]
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron[]
After the Autobots took Energon from the Sea of Rust, Vortex and Blast Off were assigned to clear the short route from the canyon to the bridge for Brawl to shoot the bridge's supports in order to destroy the bridge leading the convoy into the Decepticon ambush only Blast Off reported the convoy is equipped with heavy anti-aircraft guns. After destroying the bridge and the convoy crashed, Vortex and the other Combaticons were arrested for disobeying Starscream's orders and destroyed half of the Energon the crash. Vortex and the Combaticons are later freed by the resurrected Megatron to assist him to seek out Trypticon and transform the monster permanently as the Nemesis. Vortex and the Combaticons merged into Bruticus once more of destroying the Ark. Bruticus was defeated by the combine efforts of Jazz and the Aerialbots led by Jetfire.
Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark[]
Vortex and the combaticons would help escort Shockwave to Kaon. Vortex and the rest of the Combaticons would transform into Bruticus to make a path through the autobots. As Bruticus was making his way towards the final gate, he was attacked by Cliffjumper, whom he incapacitated and then took prisoner.
