THIS IS MY TRUMP CARD! If I hit this switch, the killer satellites in space will launch a simultaneous attack on every country in the world!
~ Serges's response to X beating him and the other X-Hunters.

Serges is the secondary antagonist of the Mega Man X2 manga by Yoshihiro Iwamoto.

Biography[]

As X and Dr. Cain are visiting a hidden area in a grave built for Zero, Serges, alongside the other X-Hunters observe look at the combat power of the former in an orb. Serges warns his cohorts not to underestimate X and that one of them getting excited would break their circuitry. After X kills Flame Stag, he is confronted by Serges and the other X-Hunters, introducing themselves as Sigma's personal bodyguards before explaining that their master had other plans to think of before they save their fight on the next time they confront him.

X rushes back to Dr. Cain to check on him and finds his mentor on the ground and the capsule holding Zero missing. Following the demise of Crystal Snail, Serges reports to Sigma that X recaptured the mine the Snail maverick was guarding which caused Sigma to break a wine glass he was holding.

Sigma orders Serges to use the Energen crystals that were harvested before X intervened. As Serges leaves, he suspects Sigma has a thing for entertainment and states he and the X-Hunters will do as asked and will have Zero rebuilt into the deadliest opponent to X yet.

As X is engaged with Overdrive Ostrich and the reprogrammed Zero is seeking out his blood. Serges reports to Sigma that X will either die or face a living hell. Later at the X-Hunter base, Serges permitted Agile to kill off 10,000 goons as they were becoming more of a hindrance than help.

As X was fighting Violen in the arena, Agile and Serges arrive to join in finishing him off then and there. Serges partook by setting land mines across the arena with his two cohorts managing to avoid getting blown apart.

Despite everything Agile and Violen have done, X manages to destroy them both. Serges, pulls out a switch in an attempt to trigger a series of killer satellites all over earth and wipe out mankind. Zero arrives and thwarts this attempt, saying no person can have any integrity for this.

Serges demands for Zero to take down X, before Zero does so, he approaches Serges and blasts him to kingdom come in spite of his protests.

Quote[]

There were once two brilliant scientists who divided the world in two halves, one used his brain for peace, the other for his own greed...
~ A hint at Serges being Dr. Wily.
I'll let your rudeness slide for now! Hurry up and take down Mega Man!
~ Serges ordering Zero to kill X, with this line being another suggestion at Dr. Wily being his true identity.
You've been so caught up in numbers, that you've neglected the art of warfare, and now you've lost your integrety? You're a disgrace.
~ Zero calling out how dishonorable Serges had been when he tried to kill off mankind in response to being beaten by X.
