Gina was the personal assistant of Lex Luthor who served him through much of Season Seven in the WB/CW Television series Smallville.

She was portrayed by Anna Galvin.

Biography[]

Bizarro[]

Gina first appeared when she helped Lex with his legal issues after Lana Lang's apparent death. She prepared the company helicopter for Lex to leave the country in and escape the authorities, but he refused and turned himself over to police custody.

Action[]

Lex tasked Gina for leads to learn more about Kara Kent's past, but all she could find was the false backstory that was created by Chloe Sullivan.

Gemini[]

To prevent Lois Lane from exposing his involvement with cloning humans, Lex purchased the Daily Planet to shut down her stories. Gina gave Lex the acquisition papers to take over the newspaper.

Hero[]

Lex was contemplating a monogram that he noticed matches a symbol in his family crest when Gina arrived to talk with him about Kara. She showed him a star constellation pattern, the Veritas crest, and reports that the stars haven't aligned like this since the day of the first meteor shower. Gina was about to reveal more information before Kara entered and she excused herself. Gina apparently never told Lex this information.

Traveler[]

At the Luthor Mansion, Kara Kent looked at several documents supposedly from her "past". Lex Luthor entered and convinces her once again to undergo a procedure that would help regain her memory. When Kara finally decided to do the procedure, Lex exits her room and met with Gina who kept Kara under surveillance. Gina was hesitant about giving Kara the procedure so soon, but Lex demanded that she get the lab ready as soon as possible and Gina obliged.

Veritas[]

Gina entered Lex's office telling him that there was no chance that Patricia Swann's locket could be traced back to him. When she questioned why he only learned of Veritas recently if he had been searching his whole life, Lex explained that he always knew that his father was harboring secrets.

Descent[]

In the mansion, Gina came to see Lex and apologized after she heard about Lionel. Lex told Gina about how Lionel took him to the Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C as a child because he loved planes. Gina consoled Lex, putting her hand on his shoulder when she noticed the locket. Changing her demeanor, she told him that Lionel was a bad man, cruel and sadistic and that nobody would ever know Lex killed him.

She takes the locket and saw the locket was empty. Lex said Lionel gave it to somebody and blames Gina, who was spotted in the basement of the Daily Planet. He told her to get the helicopter ready. After firing Chloe without giving her a chance to clear her things, Gina entered and suggests Lex go back to the Mansion while she clears up Chloe's things. She found Chloe's cell phone in her drawer and reads a text message from Jimmy to meet up, because they have evidence that Lionel was murdered.

Lois and Jimmy were waiting for Chloe when Gina enters. She pulled a gun on Lois and Jimmy, and took them down to the kitchens where they try to tell her that they wanted to delete it, but Gina said they are lying and that she wants to know where they sent the image.

While trying to find the photo, Gina shot Lois Lane after she tried to attack her, and used a gun to force Lois and Jimmy Olsen into a walk-in freezer in the Daily Planet kitchen. Discovering the image's location, Gina went to the Isis Foundation where Chloe trying to enlarge the image to find Lionel's killer.

Just as she saw Lex in the photograph, Gina came from behind her and knocked Chloe out, then deletes the image with a virus. She heard Clark coming and hides. Clark finds Chloe on the floor, and Chloe tells Clark she saw Lex in the photo. Gina overheard them talking and saw Clark using his super speed, realizing that he was "The Traveler." Gina left the Isis Foundation, leaving a message on Lex's phone saying she knew who the Traveler is, when suddenly an unknown man comes from behind her and poisons her. The assailant places Gina in her car and starts the engine before leaving her dead. It was later revealed the attacker was sent by Edward Teague.
