~ The Enchantress attempting to kill Baron Zemo for betraying her.
Amora the Enchantress is the secondary antagonist of The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, serving as the secondary antagonist of Season 1 and a supporting antagonist in Season 2.
She is an Asgardian goddess who aids Loki in his plan to conquer the nine realms (save for Muspelheim) and the founder of the Masters of Evil. In season 2, she becomes the Demon Queen and joins Surtur, initially under his mind control and later willingly.
She was voiced by Kari Wahlgren, who also voiced Anemone in Eureka Seven,Rip Van Winkle in Hellsing Ultimate, and Mevia in Minecraft Story Mode.
With a pale complexion, emerald eyes, and long blonde hair that falls to her waist, Enchantress is a stunning woman. She is athletically built with broad, toned shoulders, slender legs, and buxom breasts. She is dressed in a skin-tight green Asgardian outfit with a matching miniskirt that exposes only her shoulders. She also wore a green tiara, tight green arm sleeves that nearly reached her shoulders, and black tights with green circles on the sides.
Her new look as the "Demon Queen" is far more flattering to her ideal hourglass form. Her chest, abdomen, and hips can all be seen clearly in the new, darker red outfit, which also lacks the miniskirt. She has a spiked choker on and has laced the spikes on her now-red sleeves. Her green tiara has been swapped out for a scarlet one with horns that encircles her face.
Personality[]
Amora is vicious, cold-blooded, and calculating. Despite having lovely appearance, her attitude has led other Asgardians, especially Thor, to refer to her as a witch. She is a skilled at getting others to do what she wants, as seen by her partnerships with Loki and Zemo. Despite the fact that they are essentially just doing what she says, she makes them feel in command.
Amora seems to have lost all of her goodness after becoming the Demon Queen. She now gives Loki the go-ahead to kill Thor, who she previously had a soft spot for, with even less pity than before. She also doesn't hesitate to display her strong might, as seen by the intimidating tone with which she addressed Loki. Amora wished for everyone to be terrified by her might.
Biography[]
Amora the Enchantress worked with Loki in his plan to take over the nine realms. When Loki was imprisoned to the Isle of Silence after his first attack on Asgard failed (which it was meant to fail), the Enchantress released Loki and the two caused the breakout of 75 supervillains leading to the formation of the Avengers.
After the Avengers are formed, Enchantress impersonates Bruce Banner and brainwashes the Hulk into attacking the Avengers. Iron Man discovers that the Hulk has been enchanted, and just as Hulk is about to kill Wasp, he breaks free from the Enchantress' control and leaves. The Enchantress and her Executioner then attack the Avengers themselves. During the fight, she tries to brainwash the Hulk once again, but Hulk breaks free and the she is defeated.
Realizing she needs a team of her own, the Enchantress and her Executioner, Skurge, attack and pin down Arnim Zola and offer Baron Zemo to join her new Masters of Evil as her puppet leader, and they recruit Wonder Man, Crimson Dynamo, and the Abomination. Together, they take down each of the Avengers (except Hawkeye and Black Panther) one by one. The Enchantress begins seducing Thor, revealing to him that Zemo is just a pawn she plans on betraying, until Zemo stops her and gets into an argument with the Abomination over whether they should keep the Avengers alive. They are all defeated by the Avengers after Hawkeye, Black Panther, and Ant-Man appear and release the rest of the Avengers. As they are defeated, she teleports herself and the Masters of Evil back to Arnim Zola's lair and then contacts Loki, informing him of her success.
Sometime later, Loki resurrects Malekith and sends the Enchantress to collect the Casket of Ancient Winters from him, but Malekith betrays the Enchantress, freezes her and Skurge, and unleashes the casket's power upon the entire world. After the Avengers defeat Malekith and close the casket, she retrieves the casket and leaves to Asgard.
When Ultron kills Thor, the Enchantress revives him and seduces him until Thor remembers that he was in battle against Ultron and the rest of the Avengers are in danger. He orders her to send him back to Midgard, which she does.
The Enchantress with Skurge and the Grey Gargoyle (who she and Skurge kill and claim he didn't survive the battle) then defeat Karnilla and collect the Norm stones for the Masters of Evil, now including two more members: Living Laser and Chemistro. The Enchantress and Baron Zemo battle and defeat Thor while the rest of the Masters of Evil, who are guarding the other Norm Stones, fight the other Avengers. Thor is defeated and the Enchantress begins activating the Norm Stones to summon an army of Asgardians only to be betrayed by Baron Zemo after Thor warns him not to trust her. Having never trusted her to begin with, Zemo places a control collar on her and orders that the Asgardian army be under his control. Thor breaks free and orders the Avengers to destroy all of the Norm Stones, transporting the Avengers to different realms.
Wanting revenge on Baron Zemo, the Enchantress and Skurge hunt down and kill the Masters of Evil one by one, looking for Zemo, whose gone to the Avengers for help. After nearly killing Crimson Dynamo and battling Iron Man and Hawkeye, she breaks into the Avengers Mansion, posing as Chemistro, then revealing herself after Black Panther detects her, ready to kill Zemo and everyone else as revenge for betraying her. She easily defeats the Avengers and Masters of Evil and is about to kill Zemo, who uses the final Norm Stone as a shield against her. She calls out Zemo for this as he's risking Surtur destroying the entire universe by using the Norm Stone, something which even Loki never did. Just as she knocks the Norm Stone out of Zemo's hand and is about to kill him, Iron Man activates the dampening field to disable the Enchantress' magic. Zemo tries to kill her with her magic disabled, but Wonder Man stops him and the dampening field is broken, giving the Enchantress her magic back and allowing her to take the final Norm Stone before Wonder Man grabs it and destroys it, transporting him and the Enchantress to Muspelheim and the Enchantress is enslaved by Surtur.
Now under Surtur's control, the Enchantress leads an army of fire demons to attack Skuttlebutt and kill the surviving Korbinites. When she and her fire demons are defeated, she breaks free long enough to beg Thor to kill her before Surtur takes control of her again, sadistically taunting Thor about her being beyond help.
Sometime later, the Enchantress somehow breaks free from Surtur's mind control but continues working with him willingly due to the immense power boost she gained. She gives Loki a chance at revenge by stripping Thor, Captain America, and Iron Man of their powers and abilities and transferring Loki's soul into the Destroyer Armor. After Loki fails, she leaves him with the Midgard Serpent and notifies Surtur of his failure. Due to the show's cancellation, her story is never resolved and it's unknown what happens to her afterwards.
