Rebel Alliance Starfighter Command[6] was a branch in the Alliance to Restore the Republic's military that was in command of the Rebel Alliance Starfighter Corps. Even though Starfighter Command was commanded by General Antoc Merrick, he deferred to Colonel Bandwin Cor for the day-to-day decisions.[1] At some point prior to the Battle of Yavin, Colonel Cor sent a transmission to General Jan Dodonna in which he stated that Cor, Merrick, and Commander Garven Dreis all believed that the X-wing should be the backbone of Starfighter Command.[2]

- ↑ Star Wars: The Rebel Files establishes that when Jun Sato was in command of Phoenix Home, he sent a letter to Jan Dodonna about expanding the scope of Alliance Starfighter Command. Phoenix Home was destroyed in 4 BBY. Therefore it can deduced that Alliance Starfighter Command was established during or prior to 4 BBY.
