"Charhound" is the tenth episode of the webseries Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures.[1] The episode was released on StarWarsKids.com on November 11, 2021,[2] alongside the series' ninth episode, "Nexu."[1]
Official description[]
Aree has to out-wit the fiery breath of a charhound in order to play a friendly game of fetch.
Plot summary[]
The Galactic Society of Creature Enthusiasts sends SF-R3 ("Aree") and CAM to Elphrona to find out whether charhounds play fetch. Aree and CAM walks into a cave where they meet a charhound, who plays fetch with a stick that Aree throws. The creature grabs the stick and burns it with its breath. Aree throws more objects which the creature burns with its fiery maw.
After SF-R3's starship breaks down, Aree laments that they are out of ideas. After urinating fire, the charhound returns to its cave where Aree discovers heat resistant crystals. Aree plays fetch with the charhound using the heat resistant crystals, gaining the creature's affection. Aree lists several fun facts including that charhounds are quite friendly despite their dragon-like breath.

Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures — "Porgs" features porgs on Batuu, a species that Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy's Edge establishes were not present on the planet Batuu until the Resistance brought them there between the events of Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens and Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. Therefore, porgs must have been introduced to Batuu between those stories, which corresponds to 34 ABY per this reasoning, meaning that the events of Star Wars Galaxy of Creatures take place during or after 34 ABY.
