The Egg Pierrot^[1][2] (エッグピエロ^[3], Eggu Piero^?) is an enemy that appears in the Sonic the Hedgehog series. It is a mass-produced, clown-based Pawn Series Badnik model created by Dr. Eggman, and a member of the Juggler Series.

Appearance[]

Egg Pierrots have the same model type as Egg Pawns, but are designed like a clown.

Game appearances[]

Shadow the Hedgehog[]

Egg Pierrots make their sole appearance as an enemy in Shadow the Hedgehog. They appear in Circus Park, juggling pins which they throw at Shadow. Alternatively, they will try to ram Shadow if he gets too close. They also lose their inflamed orange balls when the large ball that they are standing on is attacked.

When an Egg Pierrot gets destroyed, the ball it balances on will detonate, creating a massive explosion that will hurt the player. It is therefore best to attack the Egg Pierrots with long-ranged weapons in order to stay clear of the imminent explosion. The player can also attack the Egg Pierrots' balls until they disappear, thereby making it safe to destroy the Egg Pierrots up close.

Sonic Rivals 2[]

In Sonic Rivals 2, the Egg Pierrot appears on a collectible card:

Powers and abilities[]

Egg Pierrots have excellent coordination, being capable of balancing on a ball and juggling balls at the same time.

Equipment[]

Each Egg Bommer carries around explosive pins which they can use in combat. They mainly carry around three pins for juggling and projectile attacks.
