This is the transcript of the Sonic Prime episode, "Cracking Down".

[The caption BEFORE appears on the screen. Tails Nine is charging up his Shattercraft. A Portal appears in front of the garage door, surprising him. He jumps off and picks up a tool, then notices on the monitor that two Eggforcers are patrolling an area.]

Tails Nine: [Annoyed] Ugh, already?

[A fuse around the security door ignites. He jumps back on the Shattercraft and puts his hands on the controls.]

Tails Nine: I haven't had time to test this yet. [The engines fire up] It better work!

[The shattercraft moves into the portal...]

[Scene Change: The Void]

[...into the Void.]

Tails Nine: Remarkable! I knew there was the potential for space between worlds, but I never imagined it would be quite like this. [Suddenly notices falling rocks and is alerted] Gah! [He tries to dodge the rocks, but the engine starts to shut down and the machine loses control, causing him to scream as it corkscrews downwards.]

[The opening theme plays]

[Scene Change: Void]

[The shattercraft continues falling, but Tails Nine finally manages to swoop it up to a more moderate angle. It is still seen corkscrewing across the air, but he manages to stabilize it. He sighs with relief and pulls the levers back. He soon spots another portal and pushes the levers forwards. However, Tails Nine notices a flashing Jet Turbine on the Shattercraft's monitor.]

Tails Nine: Ah, this thing needs some repairs. Let's hope there's some solid land in there.

[Pushes the levers. The Shattercraft moves into the portal...]

[Scene Change: Grim]

[...and out into an empty world. He brakes and lands the Shattercraft with a thud. He opens the doors and jumps off, holding his scanner.]

Tails Nine: Empty. There's no one here. Pretty Grim. It's perfect.

[He turns on his scanner. A diamond flashes on the scanner's screen. Tails Nine follows the path indicated by the diamond. He then jumps back into his shattercraft, starts the engine and takes off. It stops next to a set of large crystals, where the Purple Prism Shard appears in front of him. He scans it, then starts firing shots at the crystal structure. The diamond in the scanner glows red and a hole is created in the structure. He peeps through the hole to what looks light a bright, shiny shard on the other side.]

[Scene Change]

[Soon, the same shard is transported to the generator room. Tails Nine reconfigures it by shooting lasers, before doing the same thing with the purple shard. The purple shard converts into a coconut. He takes the newly-configured coconut towards a set of palm trees.]

Tails Nine: Ha! Sonic is gonna love this place.

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

[The caption NOW appears on the screen.]

Dr. Done-It: Stop right there, varmints!

[The camera cuts to Sonic and Tails Nine.]

Sonic: I hate this place.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Destroy them!

[The Eggforcers attack Sonic and Tails Nine. While Tails Nine retreats, Sonic Homing Attacks and defeats them easily, with both Doctors evading a sliding heap of robot parts. Tails Nine types on the computer.]

Sonic: [Taunting at the doctors.] Thanks for stopping by. [Zips off as the doors close.]

Tails Nine: [To Sonic] I've locked the Chaos Council out of the system, but it won't last long.

Sonic: [Dreading] Don't tell me we're trapped in here?

Tails Nine: Are you kidding? This is all going according to my plan.

[Suddenly, thudding is heard from outside. It's Dr. Babble and his mech suit.]

Dr. Babble: [Babbles] I'll get you!

[It fires a baby rattle mace at them. They dodge.]

Sonic: [To Tails Nine, annoyed] Did you plan for that?

Tails Nine: That? No.

[Dr. Babble babbles and continues firing multiple blasts at Sonic, who dodges, and carries the shard box with Tails Nine riding on it. It exits the room and heads down a stairway.]

Tails Nine: Stop! The Council thinks we're going down... [He charges Sonic's Regulator.] but we are taking a different path. [He drops the Regulator Charger down the hole between the long staircase.]

Sonic: Oh, things are finally coming together. We've got the Shards. We can finally fix everything!

Tails Nine: It's going to be perfect!

[Scene Change: Yoke HQ]

[Four of the Chaos Council emerge through the door, striking poses, but suddenly realize Sonic and Tails Nine aren't there.]

Dr. Deep, Dr. Don't, Dr. Done-It & Mr. Dr. Eggman: Huh?

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Where did they go?

[He suddenly sees the shard generator with no shards, causing him to yelp.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: The Shards are gone!

[Dr. Babble, who is still outside of the window and in his mech suit, waves inside to the Council.]

Dr. Babble: [Babbles] All of your faults!

Dr. Done-It: What in the name of quiche are you doing out there?!

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Quiet, all of you! We have one simple goal... Get the Shards back! Where are they?!

[Dr. Don't brings out his gadget. On the screen, the marker moves downwards.]

Dr. Don't: Uh... it looks like they're headed down to the street.

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Divert all the Eggforcers back to the Yoke. We'll crush them the moment they step outside!

[The Eggforcers travel down the middle of the long staircase.]

Sonic: Why aren't they powering down? We have the Shards.

Tails Nine: Residual prism energy stored in the Mothership. They're not powering down any time soon.

[They move out of the vent, noticing one of his vehicles and an Eggforcer. Tails Nine crawls closer to the vehicle, and looks both ways carefully. He hops onto the charger and overcharges the Eggforcers, knocking them down. Sonic brings the box in.]

Sonic: Nine, you are full of surprises.

Tails Nine: If you like surprises, wait 'til you see what I've got going on in the Grim.

[He opens one of the lids and picks up the shard inside. He points to his vehicle.]

Sonic: Grim? Cool, can't wait to hear more! But right now we gotta get to Ghost Hill.

Tails Nine: [While inside the vehicle putting the gem inside the power unit socket.] Ghost Hill?

Sonic: Yeah! It's just like the real deal, plus it's got a fourth Shard and this blueprint "thingy."

Tails Nine: [Thinks] Blueprint?

[The shard box is connected to the vehicle.]

Tails Nine: That's the key to putting the prism back together!

Sonic: Exactly!

Tails Nine: How do we get to this Ghost Hill?

[They hear metal thudding on the door. Two trios of Eggforcers emerge and attack Sonic.]

Sonic: I'll clear the path, you get the Shards out of here!

[Tails Nine nods in agreement. Sonic spins, dodging weapon fire and defeats all the Eggforcers. Tails Nine prepares his machine. As the entrance door opens - at the same time Dr. Babble warcries and his mech suit swoops in to block the way, preparing to fire at Sonic.]

Sonic: Ugh! The baby again?!

[Dr. Babble shoots several bullets while Sonic spins both ways to dodge them. Sonic Homing Attacks Dr. Babble's mech suit.]

Dr. Babble: Ah!

[Dr. Babble's mech suit is knocked down, thrown and stopped in-front of the Chaos Council's view.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: What was that about, heading to the street?

Dr. Don't: [Mockingly] "What was that about, heading to the street?" That's what you sound like.

[Dr. Deep snickers at Dr. Don't mocking Mr. Dr. Eggman.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Ugh! Deep, Done-It, get the Yolkomotive in the air.

[They do so, while Tails Nine's vehicle gets ready for take off, while Dr. Babble starts crying and thrashing about. Sonic suddenly sees something behind him and prompts Tails Nine.]

Sonic: Go, go, go!

[The vehicle swoops upwards.]

Tails Nine: Next stop, Prism Blueprint.

[Captain Dread, currently in battle with Eggforcers, runs outside and sees an airborne vehicle in the sky.]

Captain Dread: Argh! Me beauty.

[The vehicle is heading towards the portal.]

Tails Nine: The portal shouldn't have been left open this long. They're decaying.

Sonic: Do you think we can go through them?

Tails Nine: I don't trust them, they look unstable.

[He suddenly looks at his monitor and goes full speed, under threat from three chasing Eggforcers.] [warning beeps] [warning beeps continues. Tails Nine steers the vehicle both ways to dodge enemy bullets. It corkscrews to dodge more bullets, impressing Sonic.]

Sonic: Ha-ha! Mess with my best bud, and you get blasted!

[Tails smiles nervously. The vehicle swoops up to avoid a large cylindrical object, and then corkscrews back down.]

Sonic: Whoo-hoo! That was [Rubs Tails Nine's shoulder roughly] epic!

Tails Nine: Yes, it was.

[Cannon-fire from the large tank misses the vehicle as it heads towards the Portal.]

Sonic: Ha, ha, ha! Nothing's gonna stop us now!

[The airborne tank fires again and this time it scores a direct hit, corkscrewing the vehicle out of control.]

Sonic: Whoa!

[Tails stabilizes the vehicle.]

Tails Nine: [Annoyed] Will you stop saying stuff like that?

[The camera cuts to the Yolkomotive chasing Tails Nine's vehicle.]

Dr. Deep: No matter how fast you are, time always catches up. Time, and the Chaos Council...

Dr. Done-It: [annoyed] Will you just blast them already?!

[Scene Change: New Yoke City, night]

[Dr. Deep presses the attack button. The Yolkomotive shoots and breaks off the enemy's wing, sending the Shattercraft out of control.]

Tails Nine: Ugh. We're going down!

[During their descent, the Prism Shard box comes off.]

Tails Nine: The Shards. [The Shattercraft crash lands onto the road and powers down.]

Sonic: You okay?

Tails Nine: The Shatterdrive is down. [Points to his left.] Go get the Shards!

[The door opens. Sonic jumps off and speeds towards it, while Dr. Deep, also going after it, groans in annoyance and shoots bullets at Sonic. He dodges weapon fire and brings the Shard box in. Tails Nine grabs the Shard he used as a power unit.]

Sonic: [Off-screen] Nine, get down!

[He realizes he is also under threat of cannon fire. He almost drops his shard...]

Tails Nine: Whoa!

[...and hides inside the Shattercraft as it near misses him. Meanwhile, a running Sonic hears the Yolkomotive getting hit by cannon fire. He then returns the Shard Box to the fallen Shattercraft and sees the Yolkomotive burning in smoke, along with another familiar aircraft still intact.]

Sonic: All right, Rusty and Black Rose!

Rusty Rose: Who is useless now?

Dr. Deep: Oh, that traitor will pay for that!

[He retreats with the Yolkomotive while Sonic watches it leave, and Tails Nine puts the gem back in the box.]

Sonic: Ha-ha! I can get us to the Void.

[More Eggforcers arrive to attack the group.]

Sonic: But right now, we need to move. Come on!

[Tails Nine rides on the box as they make a run for it, dodging cannon-fire.]

Tails Nine: How can you get us to the Void?

Sonic: Well, I don't want to get all science-y, but basically, I run fast and boom... a portal opens.

Tails Nine: And you've done this lots of times? Turn right!

[They turn into a narrow alleyway, but the Eggforcers also make it and continue shooting. Tails braces himself and squeezes his eyes shut.]

Sonic: Not exactly lots of times...

Tails Nine: How many? [Alerts] Make a left.

Sonic: Once on purpose, and I wasn't pushing a giant Shard case. But it was super cool!

Tails Nine: Turn right!

[The Eggforcers continue chasing and attacking them.]

Sonic: Ugh, I'll never get up to speed with all these Eggforcers on us! Sorry pal, but I think we're going to have to use one of those portals to escape.

Tails Nine: It's not a good idea. It portals directly into another Shatterspace. They can't be stable.

[They see the two Yolkomotives passing through the sky.]

Sonic: Well, they came through and they're okay.

Tails Nine: All right, fine.

Sonic: Through the portals it is!

[Suddenly, three more Eggforcers block their path. Tails Nine grabs the front of the shard box and flies up, taking Sonic with him, causing the Eggforcers on both sides to crash and explode. Tails Nine finds a safe spot at the bottom of a ramp. They set off up the ramp and enter the portal with the Shard box.]

[Scene Change: No Place]

[Tails Nine screams as they fall down, crashing onto the water with a hard thud, and bouncing in the air one more time. He then lands on what is revealed to be the Shard box carried by Sonic.]

Sonic: Gotcha!

Tails Nine: Thanks.

Sonic Hey, don't mention it, that's what friends are for. Buildings? Here?

[The Yolkomotive arrives. Inside, Dr. Babble and Dr. Don't - on controls - communicate with one another. The Yolkomotive fires at Sonic's team while Sonic takes them inside the city, during which two Eggforcers chase them and continue shooting.]

Tails Nine: Two on your six. Can't you go any faster?

Sonic: Not on this water. I'll never build up enough speed like this.

[Tails Nine uses his tails to stick to the corner of a building and steer the box to the right, leaving the Eggforcers crashing into the wall. The team come across the Angel's Voyage.]

Batten Rouge: There be no wind in me sails! Curse these buildings!

Sonic: Ahoy, guys!

[Sonic arrives with Tails Nine and the Shard box.]

Batten Rouge: Sonic. You be back. Ye got yer own boat!

Tails Nine: This isn't a boat.

Sails Tails: Technically, anything that floats be a boat.

[Sails and Tails Nine, seeing their counterparts, look at each other surprised.]

Sonic: Actually, we're just passing through. Any chance you could help us out?

Batten Rouge: Helping you out only brings more trouble, [The Yolkomotive appears in the sky.] but if you could sweeten the deal?

Sonic: [Looking above] Wouldn't you like another crack at these guys?

Batten Rouge: Argh! They really put the bog in me boots and I've been itching to use the cannons. [Catfish sets up a cannon for Batten Rouge]

Sonic: Thanks, Batten!

[Sonic leaves. Sails Tails waves at his counterpart. Meanwhile inside the Yolkomotive, the screen is zoomed in on Catfish and Batten Rouge.]

Dr. Don't: What do they think they're doing? Their boat is made of wood.

[He yelps as a loud thud shakes their aircraft. Multiple hits are being fired at it. Meanwhile, as they leave the building, Tails Nine takes the shard box up in the air with Sonic towards the portal.]

Sonic: Whoa!

[Scene Change: New Yoke City, night]

[They land safely down.]

Sonic: Having friends in all the Shatterspaces comes in handy. [Sonic winks and points at Tails Nine. Meanwhile, Captain Dread watches over them from far away, and grunts in anger as he jumps down.] Just wait 'til you meet Tails. You're gonna love him! [Suddenly, Captain Dread meets up with them.] Dread?!

Captain Dread: I want me beauty. I know ye have it.

Tails Nine: Yeah, sure is great having friends.

Sonic: [To Captain Dread] Come on, dude, I thought you and I were cool now.

Captain Dread: Ye thought wrong.

[Captain Dread glides down to attack them, but Rebel Rouge throws Renegade Knucks down to unleash a Ground Pound, sending him back. He grunts and hangs on to the edge of the platform, grabbing onto his pirate hat in the process to prevent it from falling.]

Renegade Knucks: Get outta here, Sonic. I'll handle this.

[He pumps up his fists. Captain Dread jumps back on the platform and faces his counterpart.]

Sonic: I get why you don't like me, but you guys should be friends!

Renegade Knucks: Not gonna happen. I already have enough friends.

Captain Dread: The only friend I need is me beauty.

[The two Knuckles' charge at each other and unleash a flying fist simultaneously, sending them both back.]

Rebel Rouge: [To Sonic and Tails Nine] The Council's forces are converging on you. You brought the trouble. Now take it with you.

Tails Nine: [Pointing overhead.] We've got bigger problems.

[A swarm of Eggforcers swoop down to attack them.]

Tails Nine: We need to go.

Rebel Rouge: I'll buy you some time.

[Sonic - with Tails Nine - runs away with the Shard box, while Rebel Rouge confronts and defeats the enemy robots, one by one, swooping in between the battle with the Two Knuckles'.]

Captain Dread: No! Come back! [Renegade Knucks' fist is delivered to his face.]

[The Chaos Council watch over Sonic's motions on the screen.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: Ooh! There you are. Sonic and the Shards are headed to the Boscage Portal! All forces converge!

[Sonic takes the box up to the bottom of the ramp, and continues onward, followed by Eggforcers. They get to the portal, along with the robots.]

[Scene Change: Boscage Maze, day]

[Tails Nine screams as they fall through the branches, while the Eggforcers hit them and break. Tails Nine continues screaming by the time they crash land on a root.]

Tails Nine: That was...

Sonic: Fun, right?

[The shard box comes to a halt.]

Sonic: Get used to it. Once we put the prism back together, things will be nonstop awesome all the time in Green Hill.

[Sonic starts pushing the Shard box again.]

Tails Nine: Green Hill?

[The Chaos Council's aircraft arrive through the portal and deploy another swarm of Eggforcers.]

Sonic: [To the viewers] Chaos Council's not playing around.

Tails Nine: They won't stop coming until they have the Shards. We need to get to the Void. Now.

Sonic: Agreed. I just need a runway.

[The Eggforcers fire weapons at Sonic's team. Soon, the team encounter the Boscage Maze group. In slow motion, Mangey Tails and Tails Nine, see each other in surprise. Sonic sees buildings being planted around the area.]

Sonic: This deforestation and commercial construction is really starting to tick me off.

Thorn Rose: [Comes in from the opposite direction with Birdie and attacks the Eggforcers.] You're not the only one... and your friend looks a lot like Mangey.

Tails Nine: Who's that?

[Sonic stops the shard box as she meets up with Tails Nine.]

Sonic: Thorn Rose, meet Tails Nine.

Tails Nine: It's just Nine.

Thorn Rose: What have you done now?

Sonic: Not me. Them!

[Points behind himself to the Chaos Council's aircraft.]

Thorn Rose: I won't let them do more damage to my jungle.

[The jungle starts rumbling]

Sonic: An earthquake! Now? Can't Mother Nature see I'm trying to save reality?

[The rumbling stops]

Tails Nine: That was no earthquake. Look!

[The Shard case had been broken into. Sonic flinches in horror.]

Sonic: That's not good.

Tails Nine: [Tries fixing the case with lasers] Their powers are intensifying because of the close proximity. The case won't hold them much longer.

Sonic: [Sighs, to Thorn Rose] Can you clear a runway?

Thorn Rose: For Boscage Maze!

[Thorn Rose and Birdie swoop up to the sky approaching the Eggforcers as Thorn Rose shouts out a warrior-scream. Rusty Rose, with Black Rose alongside, controls her aircraft and shoots bullets at the enemy. After Thorn Rose passes them by, They look at their counterpart in surprise. Thorn Rose and Birdie continue their teamwork against more Eggforcers, with the former hammering one of them and the latter crushing it with his claw. The two Amy's continue their surprised look. With a warrior-scream, Thorn Rose jumps off of Birdie to hammer and break the last Eggforcer, landing safely back on him.]

Black Rose and Rusty Rose: [Astonished] Who is that?

[Meanwhile, a struggling Sonic dashes the unstable Shard Box along the jungle.]

Sonic: Gotta go fa-a-a-ast!!! [He speeds up into a Super Peel Out and they make it to the portal, vanishing.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: [Annoyed] What just happened? Where is Sonic? Where are the Shards?!

[Scene Change: Void]

[A panting Sonic, Tails Nine and the Shard box enter the Void, but Sonic lets go.]

Tails Nine: Sonic!

[Shadow grabs hold of the Shard Box and confronts Tails Nine.]

Shadow the Hedgehog: It's about time.

[A happy Sonic comes over to meet them.]

Shadow: Nine, meet Shadow, Shadow, meet Nine.

Tails Nine: You're not another version of Sonic. But you could be twins!

Shadow: Hardly, I am the Ultimate Life Form.

Sonic: [To Tails Nine] Don't listen to him. Come on!

[They all travel to the next portal...]

[Scene Change: Ghost Hill]

[...and land at Ghost Hill. They all explore the place.]

Ghost Hill Tails: As long as I'm around, you'll always have a wingman.

Ghost Hill Amy: The forest is the most beautiful place on earth.

Ghost Hill Knuckles: I don't need the details. Just tell me who to smash.

Shadow: [growls] Sycophantic wish fulfillment.

Tails Nine: This world, it's like an embryonic Shatterspace, like it got stuck in the blueprint phase while forming. [Stops and thinks] Hmm. Perhaps it would be useful in finishing the Grim...

Ghost Hill Rouge: ...but I get things done.

Ghost Hill Tails: As long as I'm around, you'll always have a wingman.

[Tails Nine studies his Ghost Hill counterpart.]

Tails Nine: This is the friend Sonic thought was like me? [scoffs] We're nothing alike.

[Shadow looks on uninterested. The ground rumbles, causing Sonic, Shadow and Tails Nine to brace themselves. The Ghost Hill characters also start flashing.]

Shadow: What just happened?

Tails Nine: Another reality quake. We don't have much time.

Shadow: We need to hurry. Follow me.

[Shadow and Sonic set off, along with Tails Nine carrying the Shard Box. After a moment, they all open a lid each. All three shards of different colors glow inside. The camera cuts to the Paradox Prism, which glows a pink hue and has gray outlines for the uninserted shards.]

Sonic: It's finally over. Now we just have to rebuild the Prism!

[Sonic gets going, but...]

Tails Nine: Stop! It's not that simple. The alignment must be perfect. The slightest variation could have massive repercussions. People, places, and things can be ripped from existence. One small mistake, and poof! Reality is changed forever.

[Sonic, frustrated by Tails Nine's decision, admits defeat and scratches his head.]

Sonic: Tiny details are not my thing.

Tails Nine: I can do it. I just have to make some calculations.

Sonic: How can we help?

Tails Nine: I need to be left alone to work. No distractions. Too many in a tight space. I don't want anything to go wrong.

Shadow: I'll take Sonic outside. Best to keep him away.

Sonic: [Giving a thumb up to Tails Nine] Thanks for putting it together, buddy. This is why we're a great team.

[Tails Nine nods and high-fives Sonic. They leave Tails Nine alone, waving goodbye to each other except Shadow. Tails Nine pushes the shard box closer to the Prism.]

Tails Nine: First things first, I've got to stabilize the Shard energy.

[Shadow and Sonic are outside.]

Shadow: How do you know you can trust him?

Sonic: Trust is an issue for you, Shadow. That's why you don't have any friends.

Shadow: I don't think your friend wants the same thing we do.

Sonic: Hey, cheer up! We're so close to this all being over! Once Nine rebuilds the Paradox Prism, [Shadow shakes his head slowly at him, believing Sonic is lying.] and Green Hill reforms, everything will finally be back to normal. We did it!

[Sonic gets jumpscared by a loud crackling sound and looks towards the portal. The Chaos Council's vehicle arrive at Ghost Hill and spot Sonic; defeated]

Sonic: I may have spoken too soon.

[The rocky cave with the Paradox Prism, appears on Mr. Dr. Eggman's monitor.]

Mr. Dr. Eggman: A new world, with yet another Shard! [He laughs evilly] Wonderful.

[The episode ends and the screen cuts to black. The credits appear.]
