Phern is a female beaver in the game Zootopia: Crime Files. She is a sales clerk who is suspected of vandalizing Jumbeaux's Café in Case 2. In the updated version of said case, she is suspected of vandalizing Flora & Fauna.
Physical Appearance[]
Phern is a chubby beaver with brown fur and a cream-colored muzzle. She has a large black nose, braced buckteeth, pink claws, and blue eyes with purple eyeliner. Her outfit consists of a mint-green shirt, a red jacket, a spiky bracelet, and a necklace with a silver pendant. Her neon purple hair is pinned up in a ponytail. Phern almost always has an uninterested or defensive expression on her face.
Role in the Game[]
Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde find a piece of chewed wood/wood shavings in Rodney's pawn shop/Jumbeaux's Café, Phern says she likes to chew on wood, because it's a good stress-reliever. She says she heard a lot of commotion behind Flora & Fauna/Jumbeaux's, but she didn't see anything after her contacts fell out. When asked why her paws are dirty/sticky, she insults them by saying she works at a plant store/juggling lollipops.
After the case is closed, Officer Clawhauser tells Judy and Nick someone broke into Flora and Fauna after the vandalism. They find a phone with a blurry selfie in it. They analyze the photo and it's shown to be a picture of Phern and her friend, meaning it's Phern's phone.
When returned back to her, Phern says she and her friends play a game called, "Who can take the best selfie in front of vandalism". Judy, unimpressed, says it's not a cool game.
