If you haven't read the other two books, you can definitely start with this one as it's about Adam and Christoffer (who met in Adam Only). You should jump right into this one and then read the other books too, because these are extremely HOT, and intense, and the writing is SO good!!!

It pains me to rate it with only 3 stars but I expected so much more. It was supposed to be a dark one and unfortunately it wasn't. Grayish and with so many twists it just made my head spin. I've read a few other short stories from this author and this one is my least favorite. It could have been SO much better. Well maybe it's only me wanting more. But I've read a real dark book few days ago and this one seems sugary sweet in comparison. At least the writing was good and it kept me entertained....more

The writing surprised me. I really enjoyed it. This book felt light and easy to read. I'm NOT a fan of DOM and SUB couples, actually we have a Master here and two slaves. But it's fantasy and the sex slaves aren't what we usually read about. Here Tam really loves his Master and Kai falls for Tam. How these 3 men connected, it really left me wanting for more. Well Kai and Tam connected a lot, and their Master knew which buttons to push to bring them together.
I thought I got enough of MMM, but this one was super HOT, and I can't wait to read the next books. It ends with a cliffhanger and I am dying to find out what Kai was up to. I really hope he'll not hurt Tam. What they had felt special and I'm really hoping to get a HEA here....more

While reading Protecting Elliot I got super curious about Declan, one of the secondary characters. He played a big part at the end of that novella. We get his back story: police detective in a very homophobic environment. He had to hide he was gay. Until he met his soul mates: Jagger and Ren. I had to search for this book A LOT because this author has written many series and there are SO many books! I just couldn't find Declan's story soon enough.
In Saving Ren we get 3 tormented men. Declan was mourning his sister who died of cancer and he was still hiding he was gay, because his captain was homophobic too.
Jagger is a former soldier and mercenary with a perfect bad boy attitude and body: has tattoos, he's huge and full of muscles.
Ren is broken and full of self-hatred. He's been brought home, but the year he was kept captive left deep scars: physically and mostly psychically. He wanted to disappear for a while because his nightmares made him dangerous to all his loved ones. Declan has been in love with him for over 10 years and now helps him run away from his brothers and hide in his cabin.
There's A LOT of angst, but also a lot of HOT HOT HOT scenes between these 3 broken men. I absolutely adored Jagger. He was so introverted and didn't think he'll ever find love.
It must be really hard to get 3 men to fit so well, 3 very different men, each having a rough past. But this author did it SO well. I'll be reading more from Sloane Kennedy....more

I loved everything about it: the chemistry, the writing, the sex scenes, the humor... I've savored each and every word and was left wanting MORE! I'm sorry for those who had to wait for Citywide :) This short story ends with a cliffhanger and you're left dying to read more.
I am not really a fan of MMM, but I've read a few. Well now Aiden, Jace and Chris are my favorite MMM couple!!!
I've finished this book pretty late last night, and I swear I had to force myself to go to sleep and not dive right into Citywide. That's how crazy Santino's writing is making me!! I have such vivid images in my head for these hot men and ohhh I am really looking forward to continuing their story!
This isn't really a standalone, as these characters are presented in all the previous Five Boroughs books. I can understand why it might get frustrating for those who don't get their background, friendships, ex lovers, family bonds.
But this is definitely a MUST READ for all Santino's fans....more

This is my first book by L.A. Witt and what a discovery it was!
Mikhail Budnikov - Misha - is unexpectedly attracted to a young fencer, Ryan, who tries to win a sparring match with arrogance and force. Misha wants to give him a lesson, and after winning without much effort, he's surprised and intrigued by Ryan's shyness while asking him to train him and show him how to fence correctly. I was afraid we'll get too many technical descriptions, but it was not the case. The beginning is just a little slow paced, but it still kept me turning the pages pretty fast. Couldn't wait to see them give into temptation.
And when this story gets hot, it gets extremely HOT!
I adored Ryan and Misha together. I loved Misha's strength and patience. He was so confident and kind. Even if life was not easy on him, he was such a good man and a romantic by heart. Ryan was kind of sweet, even if he was too cynical for his young age. It surprised me how much Misha helped Ryan discover what he really wanted and gave him exactly that. Did I mention they were really hot together? *sigh* I will sincerely admit I couldn't put it down.
The angst is bearable and the development of their relationship is well written.
I loved the writing! This story was amazing and I can't wait to read more from this author!

Initial review: I've read some pretty great books lately, especially the Sex & Meyhem series by K.A. Merikan, BUT Guns n' Boys is in a league of its own.
Seth Villani is the youngest son of a DON - the boss of an Italian mafia family. He wanted to escape their brutal and bloody world and moved to the States where he lived with his boyfriend. He thought his life was safe, but he was abducted and then his life changed in a blink of an eye. [image]
DOM - Domenico Acerbi is one of the toughest characters I've read about: a fast and cruel assassin, the best Villani had. He was trained to protect the Family with all costs. Brutally honest, sexy and with a dirty mind, he doesn't give two f he shouldn't push Seth's boundaries. He does what he wants, ignoring all rules, but while training Seth to become the next Don, he falls for him, hard and unexpectedly. [image]
I don't want to give too much away, so I will ask you to carefully read the book's presentation.
If you are into dark MM stories, with mafia, shootings, blood and a lot of action, then this is the best choice. BUT be aware that you're diving in a story with some dubious consent and coercion, and also something that can be disturbing for some people. I'm not going to reveal it, you should discover on your own. I haven't got a problem with it, but it might make you uncomfortable while reading the story.
Can't wait to read the next book!!! It's ADDICTIVE! Oh and I have a feeling I'll be rereading this series many times. This is truly the BEST series and DOM is my favorite character!...more

I liked Tom and Jake together, I liked Tom and his boyfriend Cass together. I really liked Jake and Cass together, even if I would have wanted to read many more scenes with the last two. But all three together... didn't make me turn the pages as I would have liked.
It was a sad and deep story of three very different men who learned to function together.
The truth is I expected more and I wanted much more. It seems like it didn't work for me. I've seen so many 5 stars reviews and I feel bad I really can't say it blew my mind, unfortunately.
I have read only one other menage male/male story and it remained in my heart Broken Pieces....more

I loved this book, minus those things that bothered me a lot. We got action, a little suspense in the last chapters, and so much hotness. Three super hot men who fitted so well.
I adore this author's writing and will probably read the whole series. I've been told the stories get better and better so I can't wait to get more....more
