|
Find Kirby!![derived from Japanese] is a Japanese only hidden picture book published by KADOKAWA released on April 2nd, 2019, and the first book of the Find Kirby!! series.
Story[edit]
The book features a simple story in which the Kirby Printer goes havoc and starts creating Kirby copy after Kirby copy, causing tumult in Dream Land. At the end of the book, the Kirby Printer breaks from having created too many Kirbys, and only the original Kirby remains once again.
The primary purpose of the book is to act as a hidden object game. In each two-page spread, a number of Kirbys appear in a specific setting (most are pink, but some feature other colors), and the reader is challenged to find specific characters and elements hidden within the scene. Every spread features five distinct characters to find: a Kirby carrying the Star Rod, a Kirby carrying a flag, a Kirby wearing a bandage, a Kirby wearing a purse, and a Waddle Dee holding a camera. Beyond that, each spread also has a few unique elements to find, with one always being Kirby with a specific Copy Ability.
Each page also contains many cameos from other characters and elements within the Kirby series, which are not counted as part of the game.
Illustrations[edit]
The following is a list of all illustrations in the book, listing the elements the book asks the reader to find, as well as other characters and items of note.

Trivia[edit]
- The Waddle Dee present in Flower Garden wears the same bunny costume as one in the "Kirby: Pupupu Picnic" merchandise series.
- The Wheelie Rider Kirby in the Battleship Halberd illustration references the ending of Revenge of Meta Knight.
- The ability designs in the illustrations mostly reflect the game they are based on. For example, in The Great Cave Offensive, Plasma Kirby has its original design from Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra (and even the coloration present in the remake), while in Outer Space Plasma Kirby uses the design from Kirby Star Allies, as that illustration is based on it.
- Similarly, Beam Kirby also has a different body color in The Great Cave Offensive, matching the color it gains in Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra, but in other illustrations the Kirby remains pink when in possession of Beam, matching other games. However, while Suplex Kirby also uses its design from Kirby Super Star and Kirby Super Star Ultra in The Great Cave Offensive, and uses its Kirby Star Allies design in Outer Space, in the former the ability does not provide any change to Kirby's body color like in those games, and Kirby remains pink.
- In a similar vein, the Battleship Halberd and Fountain of Dreams illustrations feature Meta Knight's design from Kirby: Planet Robobot (featuring more detailed gauntlets and shoes, but using the older flat design for Galaxia), while the Outer Space illustration features his design from Kirby Star Allies (with the newer peaked design for Galaxia).
