Summary

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure is a continuing manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. It currently has nine Parts and two different timelines as well as a spin-off focusing on the character Rohan Kishibe and the supernatural. Within them, various members of the Joestar family (always being capable of being nicknamed JoJo) embark on bizarre journeys in different time periods. In the first six Parts, the main influence of these quests is somehow related to the malevolent Dio Brando. In the seventh and eighth Parts, it is caused and driven by a mysterious Holy Corpse, and toward the end of the eighth part and ongoing ninth part, mysterious forces known as mechanisms.

  • Attack Potency: The verse's top tiers reach up to Building level to Large Building level+, and Stands like Weather Report has Island level environmental destruction. Its lower tiers being somewhere in the range of Below Average level to Small Building level.
  • Speed: Top tier Stands can go up to Massively FTL speeds, with at least only a couple being able to reach Infinite speeds. Some Stands can reach the Speed of Light, like Red Hot Chili Pepper and Hanged Man, and some Stands from Diamond is Unbreakable and Stone Ocean reach Relativistic+ to FTL in speeds.

Notes

  • The High 8-C characters from Battle Tendency like Santana and Joseph Joestar are scaled from Phantom Blood Dio Brando's 4 Tons value.
  • The 8-B characters, like Kars (Light Mode) are scaled from Lisa Lisa being at least three times stronger than Dio's 4 Tons value.
  • The other High 8-C characters like all the Top Tiers scale below Dio Brando being ten times stronger than Pre Deep Pass Jonathan's 0.40 Tons value.
  • The 8-C characters from Vento Aureo like Golden Experience and Sticky Fingers are downscaled from King Crimson, as even clearly below it, they can stagger it with their attacks. They also scale, but not completely, to Secco's feats.

Notes

  • The Relativistic+ characters in Diamond Is Unbreakable are scaled to be able to trade punches with Red Hot Chili Pepper, and the Speed Of Light to FTL characters are scaled to be equal and above it, respectively.
  • The FTL characters in Stone Ocean are scaled from interacting with Star Platinum in its late years.

The story follows Jonathan Joestar as he matures with and eventually combats his adoptive brother, the cunning and merciless Dio Brando.

As part of his scheme, Dio torments Jonathan in ways such as "mistaking" his dog for attacking him and proceeding to knee him in the jaw, violently beating him in a boxing match, and turning his friends against him, all while presenting himself before Jonathan's father as a better gentleman and student than his adoptive brother. When Jonathan finds solace in a relationship with his girlfriend Erina Pendleton, Dio steals her first kiss.

Dio eventually becomes a vampire, leading to Jonathan fighting him for humanity's sake.
