Summary

Blizzard is one the gods of Urth, ancient super-beings which fought for dominion over the planet millions of years ago. Eventually their power grew to such an excess that a clan of wizards from another dimension decided to intervene and confine them to magical prisons before their warring could extend to other planes. Eons later a meteor struck the planet, devastating the world built by mankind and setting the gods free to roam the land once again. With humanity under their thumb, the gods rekindled their conflict to achieve absolute control.

The following millennia saw the planet returning to be the battleground it once was, with the gods and their humans worshippers constantly wresting power from each other. However, on a fateful day the belligerence was halted by the unexpected appearance of Necrosan, an invader from space bent on taking control of the Urth. For the first time the gods had to join forces against a common foe and in doing so they came to reconsider their bonds with the humans, essential allies in times of despair capable of turning the tides of war in the most unexpected ways.

Blizzard is perhaps the most virtuous of the gods, ruling over his followers with wisdom and care while simultaneously being fierce in battle. He dreams of a peaceful world and opposes agents of evil such as Diablo and Vertigo. Blizzard is a stern and intelligent leader, having been one of the most prominent actors in the war against Necrosan and the one who first advanced the idea to make humans into avatars. Blizzard's followers live a humble and religious life, marked by martial discipline but also peace and prosperity, save for the times they are forced to defende themselves from external threats. His shaman and avatar is Kaze, a gentle yet diligent man who puts his duties before anything else. Their relationship of master and subordinate progressively evolved into a true brotherhood, achieving heights that no single being could have ever accomplished alone.

Powers and Stats

Tier: 8-B

Name: Blizzard

Origin: Primal Rage

Gender: Male

Age: At least 75 million years old (The gods have ruled Earth for 15 millions years,[1] before being banished for 60 millions[2] more and then ruling the Urth again for another millennia[3] after their awakening)

Classification: Draconian, Yeti, God

Powers and Abilities:

Attack Potency: City Block level (His punches can send opponents of comparable size and weight flying to the stratosphere. Has consistently fought on equal grounds with other gods such as Diablo. Smashed his way to freedom through a giant glacier[61] with repeated blows)

Speed: Superhuman (The gods should be on such a level by virtue of sheer size and for being able to keep up with Talon, whose attacks can barely be seen[62] by human eyes. All gods have crossed great distances on foot and in relatively short spans of time. Namely, Blizzard has crossed oceans[63] multiple times and has done so in a hurry when the ancient meteor manifested a strange behavior; likewise, even the other gods[64] reached the crashing site from their respective corners of the world in a short period. Talon and Slashfang, with Chaos right behind them, managed to reach Necrosan's castle from a far shore in less than an hour,[65] for it is the time limit of the Avatars that were at battle in the meanwhile)

Lifting Strength: Class 50 (Regularly wrestles with the likes of Sauron, with whom he shares a similar size and the ability to leap to great heights. Directly comparable to Chaos. Shook a Deinonychus until all of the bones in his neck snapped[66] and hurled it away. Can lift[6] and throw[67] opponents[68] as heavy[69] as Talon, Diablo and Chaos. Even while weakened by his long hybernation, he could still push and hold on[61] to the many tons of a glacier. Yanked the door[70] of the Bonds of Forbidding off its hinges with little effort)

Striking Strength: City Block level

Durability: City Block level (Regularly trades blows with other gods. Withstood being thrown by Chaos into a tower with enough force to tilt it[71])

Stamina: Superhuman, possibly Infinite (Gods regularly endure serious wounds during their battles such as gashes, bites and elemental attacks. Talon and Sauron have pushed through deep stabbings, the former managing to find shelter afterwards and the latter continuing his fight. The gods have fought non-stop for 12 hours[72] against a swarm of zombies. When free to fight each other just for the enjoyment of the battle, the gods rumbled with complete abandon for the whole hour[73] that was granted them. When not shackled by the limits of the Bonds of Forbidding and the avatar state, the gods can fight for days, weeks or whatever time[74] it could be needed to end a battle. Unlike humans, gods don't need to sleep[30])

Range: Several Meters physically, Tens of Meters with ranged attacks, Planetary via Telepathy

Standard Equipment: None

Intelligence: Gifted (Blizzard and his fellow gods are extremely ancient beings who ruled over the Earth during the Mesozoic Era, establishing their respective domains over different parts of the planet and grouping together vast numbers of prehistoric creatures into semi-civilized societies. The feud between the gods lasted for 15 millions years, a time during which they constantly waged war on each other to conquer and claim ultimate supremacy. Being utterly even[75] in all major aspects, neither god has ever managed to truly prevail over the other, in spite of the many alliances and truces that have risen and crumbled over the years.[1][33] Once awoken in the post-apocalyptic modern world, the gods resumed their old ways for another millennia with large tribes of human worshippers under their command. The gods even adapted to human ruling customs, organizing their new realms in kingdoms, stratocracies, theocracies and more, administrated according to their respective politics and philosophies.[5][35] The gods are all extremely capable and experienced combatants, having fought with each other and their respective underlings on even grounds for ages. When Necrosan invaded Urth, the gods and their tribes agreed to join forces and, although not without sparse difficulties, eventually managed to vanquish their common foe. Their unified ingenuity allowed the coalition to annihilate one third of Necrosan's army of zombies in just a few days through ambushed and hit-and-run strategies.[76] The brutish behavior and appearance of the gods hides a certain degree of gallantry, as they came to set up specific rules[77] for combat and on rare occasions have been eager to engage in all-out brawls[78] simply for the joy of it. Blizzard himself is stated to be in possession of age-old wisdom[79] and his immortality grants him a very long memory[80] Blizzard's followers live in a peace rarely seen elsewhere on the planet and he has imparted onto them[81] mastery of martial arts, civility and a zen lifestyle. These people live happily and have genuine reverence[82] for Blizzard, who fundamentally rules over them with both efficiency and a good heart. It was Blizzard the one who first figured out that enabling the creation of avatars would have been the key to the victory over Necrosan, a strategy which eventually gave its anticipated fruit.[47] Lastly, an explicit demonstration of Blizzard's fighting skills has been shown[83] in his clashes[84] against Talon, Diablo and Chaos)

Weaknesses: None notable

Notable Attacks/Techniques:

  • Mega Punch: Blizzard dashes forward and punches his foe with all his might.
  • Freeze Breath: Blizzard blows a powerful gust of chilling air onto his foe, freezing them solid.
  • Ice Geyser: Blizzard raises a column of ice from under his opponent, knocking them into the air and inflicting damage while also freezing them.
  • Punching Bag: Grabbing his enemy, Blizzard delivers a series of brutal blows before whipping a final punch that sends them flying.

Finishers:

  • Brain Bash: Blizzard pounds his weakened foe into the ground before sending his fist right through their skull, punching their brain out of their head.
  • To-Da-Moon: Similar to Punching Bag, though with this move, Blizzard finishes with an absurdly powerful punch that sends his enemy flying far off into the distance.
  • Redemption: Blizzard pulls his opponent's soul from their body and sends it up to a higher plane as their corpse turns instantly into a pile of flesh and bones.
