Professor Gerald Robotnik is the secondary antagonist of SnapCube's Sonic the Hedgehog dubs, part of the Real-Time Fandub Games series.
He serves as the final antagonist of the Sonic Adventure 2 and the Limits of Man duology (as the main antagonist of the Final Story), an unseen antagonist in Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and the Growth of an Industry and Sonic Riders and the Necessity of Change, and the overarching antagonist of Shadow the Hedgehog Goes to Hell.
He is Dr. Eggman’s father and a scientist who worked with the Devil to create Shadow the Hedgehog, a life form with the sole purpose of becoming the ultimate sinner, a misogynistic Twitch streamer and, in 50 years, the Devil’s best friend. In actuality, he created Shadow in order to mock the Devil at every turn and eventually usurp his power.
In the Final Story of the Sonic Adventure 2 dub, he would eventually learn about the incident involving Eggman’s nudes being leaked onto Twitter.com, causing him to try and annihilate humanity through the usage of Shadow's brother, the Biolizard.
In the Sonic Adventure 2 and the Limits of Man duology, he is voiced by Alfred Coleman. In Shadow the Hedgehog Goes to Hell, he is voiced by Mar Katoto/Dyvone.
Trivia[]
- Gerald Robotnik is one of the few characters in the series to be taken extremely seriously by the plot and characters, with little to no comedic moments to his character. However, in Shadow the Hedgehog Goes to Hell, he would become as comedic as the rest of the series’ characters, making him the only character in the Real-Time Fandub series to start out serious, then become just as comical as the rest of the series.
- There is a continuity error in Shadow the Hedgehog Goes to Hell where Shadow was created by Gerald to prank The Devil, but in all dubs prior, Eggman created Shadow to be the main character of his battle royale game.
