Bob is the main antagonist of the Melvin's Macabre video GHOST HUNTERS. It is a spectral demon that was accidentally summoned by Babs Spooks, and goes around attempting to kill, possess, and consume the souls of the characters.
Appearance[]
Bob is a red and gray demon spirit that takes on the form of a demonic bull. It facial features has a red mane, four horns, three eyes, and a monstrous snout, while its body is a human, with hooves for its hands, and legs. It also wears chains and has a red ponytail like hair on its crotch area. While in its spirit form, Bob is entirely red.
While impersonating a human, it takes on the form of an elder man (which Babs mistook for her late husband. Harold) with a brown shirt, blue undershirt, light gray pants, and black shoes. It also has a name tag, thus revealing its name.
Biography[]
During one of Babs Spooks' summoning for the spirits to join her in the world, she accidentally leaves the box containing the spirits open for too long, allowing Bob to escape. Soon after, Chet Spooks notices Bob right behind his cameraman, Spider, who then quickly flees and then and take on the form of an elder man, which Babs and Chet confuses for their husband/grandpa, Harold. Chet then pulls out an EMF reader and finds Bob (in disguise) near Melvin, and takes multiple pictures of the demon soon stripping naked in its disguise, and sucking on Melvin's crotch.
Melvin, Chet, and Spider run, as Babs points out that the spirits are unable to harm them as long as the candles are lit, causing Bob to blow them out and brutally kill Babs by snapping her neck. Chet and Spider then go into a bedroom to use an EVP recorder to communicate with the spirits, only to listen to Harold being eaten by Bob, and finding the spirit in a corner. Chet takes a picture of Bob despite Spider's protests, provoking it and causing Chet to be possessed by the demon.
Soon the Chet-possessed Bob chases Spider to the attic where Melvin and plans on consuming the two's souls as he then grasps Melvin's friend, Barry by the neck, as he prepares to eat the spirit. However, Melvin and Spider fight Bob, but are overpowered by him, although a now freed Barry is able to assist the two in fighting Bob, while Melvin retrieves the box that hosts the spirits.
Upon Bob being able to get Barry off of him, he notices Melvin with the box and makes one final attempt by lunging at the latter, causing Chet to fall out the window, as Bob exits his body to fly back up. As the box brings back the spirits to their world, Bob yells in defeat as it gets sealed away in the box again.
Personality[]
Bob is a cunning and malevolent creature, It takes advantage of opportunities as they arise, such as slipping out of the box when it’s accidentally left open. He also cleverly takes on the form of an elderly man to disguise himself, tricking Babs and Chet into thinking he is their husband/grandfather, Harold.
Bob is also cruel, and sadistic, His enjoyment in horrifying others��stripping and performing disturbing acts in his disguise—suggests he derives pleasure from making others uncomfortable and frightened. This cruelty is further emphasized when he cruelly kills Babs by snapping her neck.
His intelligence is further shown when Chet reveals that spirits can’t harm the living as long as candles are lit, after learning this Bob immediately blows them out.
Bob is relentless, and predatory, he pursues Chet, Spider, and Melvin, he intends to consume all of these souls which reveal his insatiable hunger and single-mindedness when he has prey in his sights.
