~ Whisped Cream's Medallium description |
Whisped Cream, also known as Whismellowman (Japanese: ウィスマロマン Wisumaroman) is the main antagonist of Yo-kai Watch Blasters. He also appears as the main antagonist in Episode 164 of the anime.
He was a large white creature, seemingly made from cream, marshmallow and rice flour, who devours people to absorb their energy. He is the villainous counterpart to Whisper.
Appearance[]
As Whismellowman, he greatly resembles series mascot Whisper but far larger and more plump. Unlike Whisper, he has hands with five digits each and his arms are much thicker. He wears a hat with a blue brim and a red scarf around the neck.
As Whisped Cream he resembles a giant but slimmed down version of Whisper with protruding sleeves and blue wisp running down his back. He has a wide, blue-rimmed mouth with a long pink tongue.
Personality[]
Whisped Cream is motivated solely by a hunger for energy, resorting to any means to get it. As a result, due to their inability to fight back, children often find themselves his victims. He appears extremely cruel too, as he then has them killed by his Cream Puffs. He also forcefully combined three Noko and showed no concern over any damage or death they might cause to others or themselves.
He is also shown to be incredibly concerned with appearing intimidating, as when the B-Team briefly insult him after he is turned into a Cream Puff he ignored their attempts to kill him and instead kept begging them to stop making fun of him.
Biography[]
Past[]
Whisped Cream was known as a terrifying monsters who wrecked havoc on the town of Harrisville, devouring the energy from its inhabitants and sending squads of Cream Puffs after them to beat them to death. Master Nyada attempted to seal him away, and with the help of the B-Team, they beat him until he was reduced to a Cream Puff, though he managed to escape and swore vengeance on them all.
Yo-kai Watch Blasters[]
As part of his plan, he gives a marshmallow to a trio of Noko, which when consumed aggressively mutates them into a version of Slimamander. The Blasters eventually put it down, defusing the brothers, who explain how they ate a marshmallow given to them by a mysterious Yo-kai. Whisper notes the description is near identical to him, however the rest of the team don't consider him a suspect, and even say they don't know a Yo-kai that matches the description, much to his annoyance.
Upon Mass Mutterer's defeat, Whisped Cream gloats about how much of a success his plan is.
Whisped Cream then finally reveals himself to the Blasters, attacking Downtown Springdale with his Cream Puffs. The Blasters manage to overwhelm him and he flees to Excellent Tower. As the team approach Excellent Tower for the last battle, multiple Cream Puffs are shown scurrying to the top of the tower, which when reached, reveals they've formed a much larger, and threatening Whisped Cream. During the fight, the Blasters are assisted by The B-Team. However, upon being defeated, he is simply recovered by more Cream Puffs. After gloating about how nobody can stop him, Robonyan 28 and Sandmeh show up and finally put an end to him by blasting him to the moon. In the game's credits, multiple rabbits are shown hitting him with hammer.
During the Moon Rabbit Crew missions, it's implied he has been fully converted into mochi by the rabbits on the moon and ironically, eaten, finally ending his reign of terror.
Trivia[]
- Whismellowman is an obvious parody of Stay Puft Marshmallow Man from Ghostbusters. To avoid potential copyright problems, this is why Whisped Cream was created.
- Prior to an update to Blasters, Whissmellowman's shadow was shown instead of Whisped Cream's.
- Because of his aforementioned design change in the English release. His scenes in the games localised intro were replaced with Snartle and Sheen's from the Japanese exclusive Moon Rabbit Crew intro.
- He can supposedly become mochi if pounded enough.
