Biography[]
Early Life[]
Not much is known about Min-Jun, but it appears he likely learned karate under Kim Sun-Yung, and likely came into contact with Terry Silver at some point.
Cobra Kai (Season 5)[]
Min-Jun, along with other recruited sensei's, which included Kim Sun-Yung's granddaughter, Kim Da-Eun, traveled from South Korea to the United States upon Terry Silver's assistance to help him run his newly expanded Cobra Kai dojos throughout the valley. He arrives at Topanga Karate with other senseis, where Terry Silver begins to take over the dojo.
After Hyan-Woo is easily defeated by both Johnny Lawrence and Chozen Toguchi, Min-Jun and the other sensei's, led by Kim Da-Eun arrive and begin to threaten both of them as she tells them to stop. Min-Jun is mostly shown present watching the training sessions of Cobra Kai.
When Chozen, Johnny, and Mike Barnes invade Terry Silver's mansion to confront him, Min-Jun is shown attacking Barnes. Although Mike Barnes manages to overpower him, he is knocked out by Sensei Bacaria, forcing Min-Jun to throw Barnes aside. Min-Jun and the other sensei's begin to attack Chozen and Johnny, and both of them were able to get the upper hand despite Min-Jun and the sensei's outnumbering them. As Chozen leaves to confront Terry Silver, Johnny is able to land hits on Min-Jun and the other sensei's, but is easily beat up and outnumbered by them. However, Johnny was able to regain his strength after seeing a picture of a monogram of his newborn baby, and allows him to tackle Min-Jun to the ground and punches him in the face before fighting off the rest of the sensei's. Min-Jun was able to recover and tries to kill Johnny using his sword, but he is able to dodge it, resulting him cutting off one of Sensei Odell's fingers, much to his shock as Johnny was able to knock Odell unconscious. After defeating Sensei Bacaria, however, Min-Jun attacks him from behind. He then signals Hyan-Woo to kill Johnny using his sword, only to be caught off guard by a recovered Mike Barnes, who was able to defeat both of them easily. Following Terry Silver's arrest, and Cobra Kai's shut down once more, it is currently unknown what happened to him.
Trivia[]
- His spelling is widely incorrect, as the name should be spelled as "Min-Jun" or "Minjun". This is coincidental as most Korean romanizations consists that two syllables are spelled without capitalizing the first letter of the second syllable.
- Dante Ha was also a stunt double for Joe Seo's character, Kyler Park in the first season, and for Xolo Mariduena's character Miguel Diaz in one episode of the second season.
