Kiwi is the secondary antagonist of Netflix's 2022 anime series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners, the prequel to the 2020 video game Cyyberpunk 2077.
She was a netrunner and a member of Maine's, and later David Martinez's Edgerunner crew, following the former's death. She would later join forces with Faraday and betray the group in exchange for money and an easy escape.
She is voiced by Stephanie Wong in English, and Takako Honda in Japanese.
Appearance[]
Kiwi is an extremely tall and slender woman robed in a long, red jacket. Her most notable feature is a red mask that covers her lower face and jaw, which is entirely missing underneath. She has a light blonde bob cut and angular, feline eyes. Her body, which seems to be heavily modified with cyberware, is covered in a spiderweb motif tattoo and her nipples and pubic area are blue.

Kiwi was born from two unnamed parents and while Kiwi was still a toddler, they sold her to a corporate factory.
Cyberpunk: Edgerunners[]
Kiwi had been part of Maine’s crew for atleast a few years before David had joined. She mostly played the role of a hacker and intel gatherer, largely staying out of the main focus. During a mission where she would dive into Tanaka’s mind, Maine underwent cyber psychosis and accidentally knocked her unconscious.
Kiwi isn’t seen again until after the timeskip, where Maine and Dorio had died and David became the leader of the group. Kiwi is asked by Lucy, who had been distant from the crew during the timeskip, to check up on David, to which she states he was feeling ‘mopey’ without her around. After, she was approached by Faraday and tbribed to betray the crew and capture Lucy and retrieve missing data.
Kiwi introduces David to Faraday as a ploy to capture Lucy. While he’s on a mission, Lucy is captured and the missing data is retrieved. Kiwi would then join David, Rebecca and Falco on a final mission to save Lucy, with the rest of the crew unaware of her betrayal. After being attacked by large Militech forces, Kiwi sneakily incapacitates Falco and makes her escape, planning to flee the city. Faraday requests a meeting and states she won’t get the reward money otherwise. Despite being aware it’s a trap, she goes anywway. Her suspicions are confirmed, as Faraday shoots her in the chest to silence her and leaves, letting his goons finish the job. Kiwi, on her last breath, makes a call to Falco to send the crew her location before being gunned down by Faraday’s men.

- During Edgerunners's production, Kiwi had a range of different clothes, including a blue coat with a hat. She also had a cyber-dog companion.
- Hiroyuki Imaishi's favorite character is Kiwi.
