Jotaro Shobo, also known as the Devil of Kabuki, is a minor antagonist in the 2020 science fiction video game Cyberpunk 2077, and the main antagonist in the Side Gig: Monster Hunt.

He is the owner of the Ho-Oh club in Kabuki, as well as a high-ranking member of the Tyger Claws gang. Holding a reputation as the worst man in Night City, he is infamous for recording snuff films of himself torturing and murdering his victims, which disgusts his own fellow gang members and criminals such as Woodman. Jotaro was eventually tracked down by Mox netrunners and assassinated by V.

He was voiced by Yoshi Ando.

Biography[]

Past[]

Not much is known about Jotaro's future before joining the Tiger Claws gang, but it is known that after joining the gang, he was a cruel and sadistic member who kidnapped the inhabitants of Night City where he murdered and then filmed his cruel and violent crimes on Braindance all while seeing this as a "hobby", becoming the worst among people living in the City of Dreams, with the survivors calling him the Kabuki Devil, and he was promoted to a high-ranking member for his cruel way of doing business and abiding by the gang code.

Cyberpunk 2077[]

Sometime later, Mox netrunners located and identified Jotaro at his club and gave her information about him to Regina, due to no other Fixers in the Kabuki area. When the information was delivered to her, Regina immediately called V giving him a new task to kill Jotaro. When V reaches him, they can either kill him on the spot much to Regina's gratitude, or incapacitate him and deliver him to the Moxes, for which Regina gives a small bonus.

Trivia[]

  • If V completed the mission with Jotaro before the Automatic Love main quest, V could threaten Oswald "Woodman" Forrest with sharing Jotaro's fate if Woodman refused to cooperate.
