Biography[]
George Makabe and Ben Fujinami were born to different mothers, but shared a father in robotics expert Shinichiro Makabe. As children, George and Ben were taken care of by Bonnie, a butler robot their father had built. One day, Bonnie intervened in a police chase of a robot and stole a policeman's gun, causing the other policemen to shoot and kill him. This incident left both Ben and George with a deep hatred for humanity, and as an adult Ben founded the robot mafia Guild for the purpose of supplanting humankind with robots.
Some time after Guild was defeated and his half brother was killed, George Makabe surfaced at the head of Neo-Guild, a successor organization to the original Guild's goals. As Guild had been destroyed by Janperson, Makabe declared that defeating the robot was top priority.
Makabe later had his robot henchmen break the Guild robots that had been arrested out of robot jail. When Janperson appeared to fight Neo-Guild's assassin robots, Makabe used the fight to gather data on Janperson's fighting capabilities. Using the data, Makabe created an elite combat robot, Omega DX, and programmed it with knowledge of Janperson's fighting style for the purpose of destroying Janperson. After having his men kidnap a little girl, Makabe used her to lure Janperson out so he could have Omega DX destroy him. However, during the fight, Janperson revealed his Arc Fire and Jan Blade, two weapons that weren't in Neo-Guild's data on Janperson. With these weapons, Janperson was able to destroy Omega DX and save the little girl.
Makabe would later collaborate with Himuro, the warden of a prison for robots, to brainwash the robots incarcerated there into soldiers for Neo-Guild. He sent Gun Gibson and his girlfriend Carol to guard the prison, but after Gun Gibson discovered Janperson had infiltrated the prison, he deviated from the plan and staged a prison riot in order to get the chance to fight Janperson. This led Makabe to deem the prison a failure and set it to self-destruct, resulting in death of Carol and leading Gun Gibson to join Janperson's side in opposing Neo-Guild.
For his final plan, Makabe hacked numerous robots in order to build himself an army for a robot uprising. In the ensuing fight against Janperson and Gun Gibson, Makabe shot off Gun Gibson's right arm, but was soon confronted by Janperson and cornered. However, one of his brainwashed robot followers took a young boy hostage, forcing Janperson to let Makabe go. Makabe then retreated back to Neo-Guild's hideout, but was pursued by Janperson. In the process, Janperson found an old photo of Makabe and Fujinami as children with their father and Bonnie, and learned of Makabe's childhood and how he came to despise humans. After Janperson cornered Makabe inside his base, he was joined by Gun Gibson, who pointed his gun at Makabe to shoot him to avenge Carol. Janperson attempted to talk Gun Gibson out of killing him but Gun Gibson fired his gun anyway, only for it to turn out Gun Gibson had not shot at Makabe but instead his headband, blowing it off to reveal Makabe was still a normal human and had not become a cyborg like his half-brother. Makabe then set Neo-Guild's HQ to self-destruct in a final attempt to take out both robots, and spent his final moments staring at the old picture of his family before perishing in the HQ's explosion.
