Carol is a robot built by Neo-Guild and an antagonist in episodes 21 and 22 of Tokusou Robo Janperson. She is a combat robot who wields a rapier in combat and is the girlfriend of Gun Gibson.
She is voiced by Makoto Kousaka, who also voiced the heroic Colon in Choujuu Sentai Liveman.
Biography[]
Carol and Gun Gibson were assigned to a prison for robots run by Himuro, who was secretly collaborating with George Makabe to brainwash the robotic prisoners there into being soldiers for Neo-Guild. After receiving word of suspicious activity in the prison, Kaoru had Janperson disguise himself as a robot criminal and get sent to the prison to investigate. While there, Janperson learned from one of the scientists working at the prison what Himuro was doing and attempted to escape with the information. Gun Gibson and Carol were sent after him and managed to corner him before shooting off his disguise to reveal his true identity.
While Janperson was recaptured, Gun Gibson desired to have a one-on-one fight with him, so Carol assisted him in setting free all the robots and staging a prison riot to give him an opportunity to do so. Carol stood back alongside the other escaped prisoners as Janperson and Gun Gibson fought each other in a gun duel, only for their fight to be interrupted by Himuro. After Janperson destroyed Himuro, Makabe deemed the prison a failure and activated its self-destruct, sending GuilBlackers to mop up any survivors. Carol assisted Janperson and Gun Gibson in repelling the GuilBlackers, but was caught in an explosion from the prison and damaged beyond repair. Carol's death would motivate Gun Gibson to join with Janperson in order to seek revenge against Neo-Guild for killing her.
