Cranbo, also known as the Horned Gang Leader, is one of Frieza's elites who serves under his command and the co-leader of Dodoria's team. He serves as a minor antagonist of the 1990 TV special Dragon Ball Z: Bardock The Father of Goku.
He is voiced by the late Kenji Utsumi in the Japanese version and by Kyle Herbert in the English version.

Past[]
Nothing is known about Cranbo's past other than the Galactic Frieza Army take control in his home planet, and become the second in-command of Dodoria's squad at some point.
Invading Planet Cereal[]

Cranbo participated on the invasion of Planet Cereal, slaughtering the planet's inhabitants with the help of the Saiyans, they succeeded on conquering the planet and ready to sale it to the Sugarians.
Comfronting Bardock and his team[]
Dodoria, Cranbo, and the other elites were ordered by Frieza to kill Bardock and his team once when they arrived on Planet Meat. After Tora, Fasha, Shugesh, and Borgos killed the Meatians, Cranbo and his squad ambushed and executed them. Bardock arrived on the planet and was shocked to see his friends died with only Tora still breathing but in critical condition, vowing to avenge their team before pass away. Cranbo and the elites watches Bardock and then taunts him on the death of his friends and tells him he should have been there with them. Enraged, Bardock charges at them and then the elites leap up firing ki blasts at Bardock, thinking they have killed him until he surprise attack one of them and died. Cranbo and the other two members of his team immediately fired energy waves at Bardock, causing a smokescreen for Bardock to use one of the elites as a shield to trick Cranbo of believing it was him.
Cranbo and the remaining member of his team beginning to realized they have underestimated Bardock, his comrade tells him to be careful at Bardock, but Cranbo refuses believe that a low-level Saiyan overpowers them and they shouldn't be worrying about him. Cranbo and his teammate charges at Bardock and hits him with his knee, his comrade grabs Bardock allowing Cranbo deliver nasty punches at him, then attempts to end Bardock for good with a finishing blow, but injured his teammate instead, penetrates through his teammate's spine and Bardock fires his energy wave, killing Cranbo in the process.
