This is the location where Kirei Kotomine, Risei Kotomine and Tokiomi Tohsaka discuss about the upcoming Fourth Holy Grail War.[7]
Monaco[]
MonacoWP is a small European city-state located in southeastern France. It is the home city of the Escardos family and the location of the casino boat owned by the Dead Apostle Van-Fem, Fem's Casa. In Fate/hollow ataraxia, Shirou Emiya and Luviagelita Edelfelt of an alternate universe planned to go there to investigate Fem's Casa and participate in gambling for an unknown purpose.[8] During the Rail Zeppelin case, Flat temporarily returned to Monaco to deal with family business,[9] which is later revealed to have been him winning back his family's Magic Crest from Fem's Casa after his parents dumped it there in hopes it could never be recovered.[10] Three years later, Flat has tea with Ziz in Monaco, while they wait for Shirou Emiya so they can go to Fem's Casa together.[11]
Norway[]
Oslo[]
OsloWP is the capital of Norway. Home to famous landmarks such as the national Parliament buildingWP, the Oslo Opera HouseWP, Hotel BristolWP, and Akershus FortressWP. It is the location of the Doubles Subcategory Holy Grail War.
Romania[]
Bucharest[]
BucharestWP is the capital of Romania, formerly known as "Little Paris" during the early twentieth century. The bombs of the World War II, two earthquakes, and the megalomaniacal urban development of the dictator Nicolae CeaușescuWP destroyed many of the buildings of the period. While much of the beauty was lost, many old churches and historically valuable buildings from the old city can be seen travelling on the Calea VictorieiWP cutting through the city from south to north.[12] It also has its own international airport, the Henri Coandă International AirportWP.[13]
Considered another wound carved into the country by the Ceaușescu regime are the "children of Ceaușescu", the destructive legacy of the regime born from its policies. Romania once outlawed contraceptives and abortions, and had attempted to force all families to have at least five children. Many youths were unable to be raised and ended up as street children who delved into lives of crime and human trafficking. While the dictatorship ended in revolution, those lives who were born could not be returned, and they were devoured and scattered by criminal organizations and people of power, surviving by turning from the prey to the predators.[12]
It has nearly six hundred years of history, and it possesses many spiritually powerful leylines suitable for summoning Servants. Using the Stavropoleos ChurchWP, the necromancer Kairi Sisigou is best able to summon his Servant.[12] As of the Great Holy Grail War, there is a series of murders that causes one newspaper to make a joking title of "The Return of Jack the Ripper?"[12]
Sighisoara[]
SighisoaraWP (シギショアラ, Shigishoara?) is a Romanian provincial city to the northwest of the capital Bucharest. It is the birthplace of Vlad III and his parental home is preserved.[14] It is the closest city to Trifas outside of Yggdmillennia's influence. Closer than Bucharest, it remains a good location for the Red Faction during the Great Holy Grail War until the completion of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon.
It was formed in the 12th centuryWP by a settlement of SaxonsWP, and it is a rare city that displays strong vestiges of the Middle Ages, rare for even within Europe. The old town district in particular is a precious place where buildings from the Middle Ages still remain as they were in the past.[14] The Red Faction uses the Church on the Hill as their base initially. It is a high-up church with a famous dome-roofed staircase said to contain one hundred and seventy-two steps.

The Bermuda TriangleWP, also called the "sea of no return",[15] is a region in the Atlantic Ocean, much of which is south-west of the coast of Bermuda, infamous for being the subject of urban legends as the cause of the disappearances of multiple ships and airplanes. Just like the Wandering Sea and the Spiritual Tomb of Albion, it wanders about irregularly on the surface of the Texture of the Human Order and frequently changes coordinates.[15] Touko Aozaki and Lugh Beowulf went to "another world" through it on one of their adventures.[16]

The gate closed soon after, when Wills Pelham Codrington passed through to be with his love Faye.[18]

Altera's homeworld[]
The unnamed world from which Altera originates was a world that was destroyed by the Velber over 14,000 years before modern day. Prior to its destruction, the planet was inhabited by a race of giant beings who prided themselves on "standing at least ten times taller than ordinary beings." Altera's default size at all times is “ten times the size of the average body size of the given species (of a civilization).” The being that served as the base for Altera was the equivalent of royalty, the strongest of their species, endowed with enhancements. After the destruction of the planet's civilization, its data was utilized to create Velber 02.
Machine Gods' homeworld[]
The unnamed world from which the Machine Gods originate is a planet whose species went extinct and whose "universe had come to its end." Before their extinction, the species that created the interstellar fleet led by the flagship Chaos made them for the purpose of finding an inhabitable planet and recreating their homeworld, but various circumstances led to the abandonment of that plan.

[] Fate/EXTRA material - Encyclopedia: Atlas Academy [Place name], p.155 The Academy at Atlas【Location Name】
The Atlas Institute is an association of magus and alchemists based somewhere in Egypt’s Atlas Mountains. It is also known as the Giant’s Pit.
Of the three divisions of what had once been the Mage’s Association, the institute of accumulation and measurement.
They were a group of practitioners of alchemy, not of the modern alchemy that became dominant since the medieval times, but the progenitor of magecraft, the alchemy that investigates the truth of the world.
They’re not so much as mages as they are individuals with abnormal powers who treat their own bodies like humanoid machines, using them like vessels for working their minds more accurately, more powerfully, more quickly.
They believed that humans are a rare sort of computers with motor functions (the five senses), that we humans are intelligent lifeforms that evolved to collect and analyze information and directly solve the problems created from that as manual labor.
The correctness of this idea was proven unexpectedly in the world of Extra where magecraft died out.
The alchemists of Atlas have poor magic circuits, and did not lead their lives relying on magic power.
As they did not rely on it (or to be more precise, could not), they were able to continue their pursuit of knowledge as disciples of magecraft even after the depletion of mana.
However, for a long time children had stopped being born, and the Atlas Institute, with its old alchemists taking their lives, was at the end of its ropes irrespective of the mana depletion.
All that remains of the Atlas Institute is a single homunculus. The last Atlasian succumbed to disease after creating the homunculus, and only her creations were left in her cave.
The Atlas alchemists disappeared, and their research facilities which were built using unknown techniques stretch out in an underground city which is now, more or less, a giant graveyard.
[] Fate/EXTRA Sound Drama 2 Bonus Drama Sakura: It is common knowledge that the West European Zaibatsu controls 60% of the modern world. Its directly-controlled territory of Western Europe is stable by means of a completely controlled society, and the aristocracy has come back into existence. In comparison, America has become a failed state and is quite frankly a lawless land. Certain persons of interest fled to South America and planned to reorganize, but were met with opposition from the South Americans and have been driven into a corner. The Middle East was still plagued by internal strife, and was unprepared for the seizure of Jerusalem by the West European Zaibatsu, throwing it into terrible panic. It was thought that the seizure of the religious foundation would lead to all-out war, but the Middle-Eastern countries no longer had the power to retake Jerusalem, and it was all they could do to unite to hold back the West European Zaibatsu's expansion at the borders.
Archer: I see. So those are the circumstances in which Tohsaka Rin is helping the resistance in the Middle East.
Sakura: Yes. By the way, Tohsaka-san's home ground is fairly close to the Atlas Institute where Rani-san lives.
Saber: What of Asia, where my Maestro's home ground presumably lies? To what extent is the influence of the West European Zaibatsu?
Sakura: The various Asian countries are constantly engaged in skirmishes over resources. Starting with a disaster at the end of the 20th century, Japan fell into anarchy and became a ruined country. The West European Zaibatsu, which extols management of human rights, apparently provides aid to those looking to leave Japan. Since resources are everything in this world, the Chinese considered it pointless to conquer a resourceless island country and left it alone, but the West European Zaibatsu considers human resources important too, and see Japanese people as a good resource, so they want to preserve their education level. Among them, Kishinami-san is... ah, no, this is a spoiler, so let's talk about this once the story has progressed a bit more.
Caster: You mentioned resources, but the world is at war, right? In that case, can people really leisurely play games and such? Actually, how far has technology progressed? Wouldn't science and technology change as a result of war?
Sakura: The technology, apart from space development technology having drastically halted, is about the same level as the real world. There are cell phones and smartphones as normal, and as evidenced by how Shinji-san is known as an online game champion, regions controlled by the West European Zaibatsu have a complete infrastructure set in place. However, the earth's population has decreased to about half of the real world's population. This is due to the war as well as the West European Zaibatsu controlling even the birth rate.
Saber: I see. In that case, people are the same as cattle. I can understand why Tohsaka Rin has such antagonism towards Leo. - ↑ Fate/Samurai Remnant Website - Outline

The name of a real place. It is a Romanian provincial city to the northwest of the capital Bucharest, and it is where Vlad Tepes…Vlad III’s parental home is preserved. It has a long and old history, having been formed primarily as part of colonization from Germany in the 12th century. The old town district in particular is a precious place where buildings from the Middle Ages still remain as they were in the past.
Trifas was conceived using this city as a model, while also made so as not to be eye-catching as a tourist attraction in comparison.シギショアラ【地名】

[] Tsukihime Dokuhon PlusPeriod - TSUKIHIME Dictionary: Marble Phantasm [Unusual talent], p.178 Marble Phantasm [Unusual talent]
Imagination Realization. As the name suggests, it is the ability to manifest anything you can imagine.
It is the ability possessed by elementals, which are the sense of touch of the natural world. By connecting their will directly to the world, they are able to transfigure the world into whatever environment they imagine. Of course, the level of manifestation varies depending on the scale of the elemental, and it goes without saying that only nature can be transfigured – things that exist independently of nature are immune.
In Tsukihime, Arcueid eliminated Roa by using marble phantasm to turn the layers of the atmosphere in the hallway into a vacuum, like a carving knife slicing up a daikon radish. Though she could not affect Roa himself, it was impossible for him to avoid the finely sliced atmosphere, and he was reduced to nothing but ankles.
(The gap above the floor was the result of a deficiency in Arcueid's imagination.)
Also, in the world of Tsukihime spiritual realms are not alternate dimensions, but rather exist within the world itself. Things like legendary lands and countries of eternal spring are the products of the imagination of whatever elemental rules over them. Consequently, it is possible for humans to wander into them by accident.
The castle in the mountains that Arcueid calls home is actually a product of her marble phantasm.空想具現化【異能】
