Château d'If (シャトー・ディフ, Shatō Difu?)
Château d'IfWP (シャトー・ディフ, Shatō Difu?) is a fortress serving as a prison on the island d'If, a few miles offshore from Marseille. It is where Edmond Dantès was imprisoned for years.
Citeaux Abbey[]
Citeaux AbbeyWP (シトーの修道院, Shitō no shūdōin?) is the abbey Caren Hortensia was admitted to. Unlike the others in the abbey, Caren was permitted to leave on errands pertaining to exorcising.[1]
Domrémy[]
DomrémyWP (ドンレミ, Donremi?) is a village in the region of LorraineWP.[2] It is famous as the birthplace of Jeanne d’Arc: she left the village at age 17, and never returned home after that.[3] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity, where Chaldea first set foot when arriving in the Singularity.[4]
Jura[]
JuraWP (ジュラ, Jura?) is mountain range in France, extending along the border to Switzerland. It also gives its name to one of the geological periods, the Jurassic age.[3] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity, where the battle with Martha occurs.[5]
La Charité[]
La CharitéWP (ラ・シャリテ, Ra Sharite?) is a city in France. It became a battlefield during the Hundred Years War, a battle in which Jeanne d’Arc fought. The operation failed, but a few days later, Jeanne and that family were given noble ranks.[3] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity, where the town is destroyed by a single attack from Fafnir.[6]
Lyon[]
LyonWP (リヨン, Riyon?) is a city in France. It has a history of atrocities being committed there during the French Revolution.[7] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity, which Siegfried had protected until he was defeated by Jeanne d'Arc Alter's Berserker Servants.[8]
Marseille[]
MarseilleWP (マルセイユ, Maruseiyu?) is a city in southeastern France. It is Edmond Dantès's native city. It is one of the locations in the First Singularity.
Montluçon[]
MontluçonWP is a town in France. As a city constructed as a military installation during the Middle Ages, it holds a castle of the House of BourbonWP, the French royal family Marie Antoinette married into.[7] In the manga Fate/Grand Order ~turas réalta~, the adaptation of the Orleans Singularity has Jeanne d'Arc, Marie Antoinette, and Elizabeth Báthory make a stop there.[9] The town gets attacked by Charles-Henri Sanson and Marie-Antoinette sacrifices herself to save it.[10]
Orléans[]
OrléansWP (オルレアン, Orurean?) is a city in north-central France. Both Jeanne d'Arc and Gilles de Rais participated in the Hundred Years' WarWP to repel the English in the Siege of OrléansWP. When the Singularity manifested, Jeanne Alter and Gilles conquered the city and used it as their base of operations in their campaign to destroy France.[11]
Rouen[]
RouenWP is a city in France. It is where Jeanne d'Arc was burned at the stake, at the Place du Vieux-Marché.[12]
Thiers[]
ThiersWP (ティエール, Tiēru?) is a city in France, famous for its cutlery.[13][7] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity,[13][9] where Elizabeth Báthory and Kiyohime are first met by Chaldea.[13]
Vaucouleurs[]
VaucouleursWP (ヴォークルール, Vōkurūru?) is a town in France. While alive, Jeanne d’Arc was the leader of its garrison, and, upon meeting BaudricourtWP, she began to change the outcome of Hundred Years War.[3] It is one of the locations in the First Singularity, where Chaldea first meets Jeanne d'Arc.[6]
