Veedaaz Awmetth was a humanoid politician who served as a senator of the Galactic Senate during the Republic Era. They were an ally to Senator Padmé Amidala, and were one of the many thousands of mourners to attend her funeral on Naboo^[1] in 19 BBY.^[2]

Veedaaz Awmetth was a character portrayed by Nicholas Ferguson for Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith,^[3] however they never made it into the final release of the film.

Their first official canon appearance was in the The Topps Company, Inc. Star Wars: Card Trader app,^[4] before making another appearance in Star Wars: The Visual Encyclopedia.^[1]

Dave Elsey, the creature shop creative supervisor for Episode III, based Awmetth's appearance on an initial design of Darth Sidious.^[3]
