Troiken was a planet[3] located in the Outer Rim Territories region of the galaxy[1] that was the homeworld of the Xexto species.[3] It was also home to raw spice mining operations, controlled by the Pyke Syndicate.[4]
Gasgano, a famous male Xexto podracer pilot, was from Troiken, as was the male Xexto pawnshop owner and pickpocket Ferpil Wallaway. Slingshots of various kinds were popular on the Xexto homeworld, since the aliens' extra sets of arms made those weapons especially convenient to use.[3]

Troiken was first mentioned in Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I, a 2000 Star Wars Legends reference book written by Kristin Lund.[5] It was confirmed to be canon when it was mentioned in Ultimate Star Wars, a 2015 reference book co-written by Patricia Barr, Adam Bray, Daniel Wallace, and Ryder Windham.[3]
