Stygium was a material used in cloaking devices. The cloaking devices of TIE/ph "phantom" was based on stygium,^[2] and the cloaking technology of the Carrion Spike, the personal corvette of Moff Wilhuff Tarkin,^[3] and the Sith Lord Darth Maul's heavily modified Star Courier^[4] Scimitar ran on stygium crystals.^[1]
