Around 1 ABY,[2] Leia Organa and Luke Skywalker went on an undercover diplomatic mission to the planet of Tibrin, on the edge of the Hadar sector. Posing as diplomats from Naboo's House Berenko seeking to negotiate a trade deal, they aimed to rally the native Ishi Tib to the Alliance to Restore the Republic's cause.[1]
Rescue[]
Preparing to rescue Luke[]
On the planet Tibrin, Mariod Govi was trying to convince Princess Leia Organa to not go undercover as an Imperial officer in an attempt to rescue Luke Skywalker from the Galactic Empire. she told him that the Empire had injured two of their guest and captured a third and if it wasn't enough to convince the Ishi Tib Kalikeedan to join the Rebel Alliance then she can't help them and took off to rescue Luke.
On the Imperial Star Destroyer, the Stormbringer, Luke Skywalker was hooked up to an Imperial torture device about to be tortured for information by Captain Davin Bryce, who said this as his way to a promotion.
Rescuing Luke[]
Leia Organa had landed in the hangar of the Stormbringer and was halted by two stormtroopers while she was checking in. Leia fibbed and told them that she was a transfer from the Malevolence and was able to get by it as one of the stormtroopers tried to flirt with her. Leia had one of the stormtroopers, TK-5648 walk with her. As they were walking a an elevator one of the stormtroopers in the hangar realized that her ID was a fake but an explosion prevented him from stopping her. Leia had planted a Thermal detonator on her shuttle causing the explosion. TK-5648 turned around and Leia quickly knocked him out and threw him in the elevator with her. Warning his unconscious body to not flirt during his job again. She entered a control room and told everyone there that rebels were at Hangar 14 in order to get out of the room. After everyone left, she took TK-5648's code cylinder and used it to chart a path to Luke Skywalker.
Back at the torture room the interrogation machine started to get closer to Luke as one of Captain Bryce officers reported that they could not find any rebels onboard the ship but the Captain told them to continue the search. Leia was in a garbage compactor and could here Luke's screams through the vents. Bryce asked who Luke's lightsaber belonged to, not believing it was his or that he was a Jedi. Leia reached the room after crawling through the vents and stunned the stormtroopers around her and Captain Bryce right before Luke was going to be tortured by the machine.
