Director was a title used by the heads of certain government bureaus, private organizations, and other associations. It was used by both the Galactic Republic and the Galactic Empire. One of the most famous holders of the title was the Director of Imperial Intelligence, Ysanne Isard. The Outbound Flight Colony was also headed by a Director.
