This article contains a list of glitches from Sonic Forces. Unless otherwise noted, all glitch names are conjectural. Many of them have not been confirmed by Sega.
In Aqua Road, half-through the stage, the player must run, jump over the ramp and aim underneath the water flew. Once underneath it, they need to activate the Hover Wispon. This will trigger a glitch where, once the Avatar comes back to land for a long time, they'll start sliding around like as if they were in the current of a water.
Slow Double Boost[]
To achieve this frame-perfect glitch, the player needs to press start once the Double Boost countdown reaches 0.00. If succeeded, the game will be in slow-motion, while the music and dialogues are in normal pace. This glitch was only available in the first version of the game, as it is one of the few glitches to be patched later on.
Lanky Avatar[]
This glitch has different effects depending on the timing. To perform this glitch, the player must go to Prison Hall, accompanied by another Avatar. One of the Avatars must have the Burst Wispon for this glitch to work. At the part where the player needs to destroy the two Egg Pawns to make the pulley appear, go under where the pulley would usually appear and use the Burst Wispon to destroy the two robots. Once done, switch Avatar right before touching the handle. If done correctly, the model for the Avatar will be stretched out. Sometimes, the Avatar will become invisible when doing the glitch with a different timing.
Quickest death ever[]
To perform the simplest glitch in the game, all the player has to do is to Stomp right at the beginning of Lost Valley. This glitch was only available in the first version of the game, as it is one of the few glitches to be patched later on.
Spaceport's secret section[]
For this glitch, the player will need a Void Wispon and the teleport ability. At the end of Spaceport, there is a grinding section. If one jumps at the end into the bottomless pit and uses the teleport ability, the player will be in a bubble. Use the bubble to pass the wall and they will be out of bounds, near the Goal. However, the solid ground is not endless, so going too far will make the player fall and die. They also cannot escape this section without dying using the said method or restarting. This glitch requires a lot of trial and error because it needs to be timed perfectly in order to work, otherwise the character will fall to their death.
