- “Shoot For the Stars!”
- —Star Strike's official catchphrase
Star Strike is a Magic core Skylander who first appeared in Skylanders: Swap Force.
Background
Development
In early concept art, Star Strike's dress was patterned with stars, and she appeared as an elf with a bun of white hair. Instead of fans, she wielded a magical scroll depicting a blue bird against a backdrop of constellations. Her scroll could unfurl into a shield, a flow of magical energy, a tornado, a trap that stunned enemies, or a mid-range attack.[3]
Personality
You can't pull the wool over this bewitching alien's eyes. She's most likely to send evil into orbit with her star fall blast.[1]
Biography
Looking for a way to magically banish the Skylanders, Kaos poured through every dusty scroll and ancient tome he could find. Upon stumbling across a rare and extremely powerful spell, he began to recite its words. However, he sneezed midway through the incantation. As a result, instead of sending the Skylanders far away, Star Strike was plucked from her home in the distant cosmos and brought into Skylands. Surprised, Kaos thought he’d won a powerful new ally in the mysterious and reserved Star Strike. But she knew evil when she saw it and promptly unleashed her fierce magical powers on him. Word of her victory over Kaos spread quickly and she was soon asked by Master Eon to join the Skylanders.
Story
The Kaos Trap
Star Strike was the first to answer Hugo's call to help the Skylanders at the Radiant Isles against an army of Trolls. Unfortunately, she, Tree Rex and Gill Grunt were busy evacuating the inhabitants of Stonetown from a crumbling dam before it gave out, and were unable to go and help Stealth Elf, Pop Fizz, and Wash Buckler.
Return of the Dragon King
When Malefor defeated most of the Skylanders that were summoned to protect the Skylanders Academy, Star Strike was one of the remaining heroes that served as the school's last line of defense. Despite assisting her fellow Skylanders in forming a barrier that held back Malefor's massive firebreath, they were ultimately defeated when the evil dragon delivered a devastating tail strike that broke through the Academy walls.

Trivia
- Star Strike is the one Skylander who can perform her secondary attack, the Cosmic Twirl, while jumping or after stepping on the bounce pad in Swap Force.
- Star Strike was originally called Fan Girl.[4]
- Despite being the second female Magic Skylander while Ninjini was the first, Star Strike is the first female core Magic Skylander (second one being Déjà Vu).
- Coincidentally, they all have featureless eyes.
- When she shoots her star at the sheep, their wool changes colors. She is the second Magic Skylander to possess this ability, while Double Trouble was the first with his Eldritch Beam.
- Star Strike was a character that people loved instantly, and when the developers showed them that she could reflect her own projectiles, players would just lose their minds.[5]
- She slightly resembles Raven from Teen Titans (but only when Raven has her hood on).
- She also has similarities with Starfire from "Teen Titans" as both are female, aliens, protagonists, can fly (Star Strike hovers above the ground due to her not having visible legs.), have energy attacks and have the word "star" as the first syllable of their names.
- She also resembles Architect from Battle Camp as both have color black in their hoods and outfits, color white and fan shape in their blades, and a shadowy face (Star Strike's face is shadowy except her eyes).
- She has the Magic symbol on her tessons (when put together), her dress, and her cape button.
- Both Star Strike's cape and hood seem to be held by her golden button, have the same color scheme, and don't match the rest of her outfit. This could mean that her cape and hood are the same piece of cloth.
- Star Strike's voice actress, Misty Lee, is known as a professional magician.
- Star Strike is noticeably similar to Spotlight:
- Their attacks are both linked with light.
- They both have featureless eyes.
- They are both voiced by Misty Lee.
- They both share the same quote, "Time to Shine!"
- As a LightCore figure, her eyes light up. Also, after she purchases her Soul Gem ability, "Shooting Star", her face almost lights up completely blocking her glowing eyes within the game.
- She, Gearshift, and Rocky Roll are the only Skylanders that has the same number in all their stats.
- Her and Enigma's faces are covered by their hoods.
- Coincidentally, they are both of the Magic element.
- However Star Strike's eyes can be seen, while Enigma's head is invisible.
- Her quote "Starlight, star fight!" is the base for the pun of Lob-Star's official catchphrase "Star Bright, Star Fight!"
- At the beginning of her Soul Gem preview, her cape is missing.
