- Elite Eruptor's official art uses an edited version of his Series 2 artwork, with his extra headspikes from his Wow Pow edited out. This makes him one of only two Elite Skylanders to not use the Series 1 version of his artwork that his figure is based on, along with Elite Gill Grunt.
- Coincidentally, both Elite Eruptor and Elite Gill Grunt were released together.
- He is the only Elite Skylander of the Fire element.
